Their food is definitely authentic and amazing. It's a market and a restaurant. The customer service was really nice. Do not doubt it because it is next a gas station to be honest this is where you will mostly find the best food from many cultures in Atlanta. They are gems hidden here. Nice to find a place in Atlanta, GA that reminds me to NYC & Dominican Republic Food! I liked the cheese empanadas, pica pollo (fried chicken) con tostones (Fried plantains), and Yellow Rice with pork ribs. The menu changes every day! So you won’t find the same food the next day. Also while waiting, you can check the variety of products directly from Dominican Republic and other Latin America countries. Friendly staff, atmosphere, and service. A hidden gem! This family was already special to me, so I made a trip to support their new business. Needless to say the owners are friendly, but it was also obvious that they are dedicated to creating a great product in a pristine environment. I was quickly greeted with hugs, smiles, and amazing aromas. Knowing little about Dominican food, I got a sampler, and let me tell you there was NOT anything that wasn't delicious and full of flavor. The empanadas were perfectly crispy on the outside, with a delicate dough that surrounded chicken, beef, or cheese. Each had its own unique flavor, and every flavor was delicious. I also tried the plantains which were perfectly caramelized on the outside. Finally I had a rice dish that was top notch. If you are in need of specific grocery items, that is available here too. If you are from the North, this is a must try. If you are not, you must come and get yourself a little taste of New York in Georgia. More...
