Honestly the most amazing hair experience ive ever had!! Chenoa made me feel SO comfortable!she's a complete sweetheart and really listens to what you want   And all of the ladies there are so friendly and welcoming ! Autumn is the best! She's been cutting my husband's hair for about a year and he's been telling me to go in to see her myself for a while. .. today I finally did, and I am SO happy! I go to salons pretty infrequently because I often leave having been overcharged and disappointed with the results. Autumn was very attentive and made sure she new exactly what I wanted every step of the way. She did a cut and color for me that was exactly what I wanted, charged very reasonable prices, and I even got a compliment on my hair from a complete stranger after leaving the salon. As I've gotten older and have less hair to work with ( I grew up sporting super long hair)  it's great to have someone like Nikki who knows how to cut it to look it's best, and to not have to get it recut every month to stay looking good. I had come here once before in a frenzy needing to get my hair cut that day. They took me as a walk in and gave me a cut that I loved. The lady that cut my hair no longer works there, BUT I went back yesterday (also made an appointment with a day's notice, I love that they are so accommodating) and had a haircut with Maya. She is a DOLL. I showed her pics of my hair and she was genuinely excited to do it for me. I thought she might be apprehensive at shaving the back of my head, but when I asked if she minded I got a, "No way, let's do it!" I also hung out while Maya did Balayage highlights on my roommate that came out gorgeously. They look SO natural like she just hung out on the beach for a month. Everything blends amazingly. Anyways, I love my cut- asymmetrical curly bob with an undershave. Maya has a way of working that makes you extremely relaxed and confident that she is going to do a good job. She was also a pleasant person to talk to which I appreciate when I'm having my hair done. Definitely will be going back to Maya!Also want to give a shout out to the girl at the desk, she's really friendly. I have come here twice now to see Maya--the first to get a fun haircut and the second to get ombre color. My new favorite hair salon!Went with the recommendation from my boo, who gets his haircut by Britney. I've had long hair for about 10 years now but was itching for a change. I wanted an asymmetrical LOB aka long bob.First of all, this place is awesome because you can make appointments online. Secondly, Britney is so super talented and cuts hair in that exact style you envisioned in your head. Amazing! Nikki gave me my most favorite haircut ever, a super sassy asymmetrical do. She's super skilled and couldn't be sweeter. I recently got an amazing color job from Maya. I had dyed my hair with indigo and henna and she stripped out the color, no problem, and gave me some amazing purple locks. I loved her confidence and fun personality. I was at the salon for a long time and so got to see a bunch of clients come through, and everyone was treated kindly and and left with rocking hair. When I went to Britney at NV Salon, I was suffering from a severe butchered cut from my last salon. First off, I have really curly hair, coarse and frizzy hair, which can be a real challenge to cut, so I'm picky about my stylists. I was growing out my bob and had gone to a new stylist at my old salon who had left my hair the equivalent of a bad Garth Algar from Wayne's World/80s mess, with unmatching layers and a bad mushroom-cloud effect. I was in some serious need of fixing. Britney, thankfully, did just the trick! Britney looked at my hair, figured out where everything went wrong and gave it to me straight- I was going to lose some length to get everything back to an even, flattering style, but she could help get me back from the 80s freakshow... and she did just that. She worked her magic and gave me a cute style that I can wear either curly or straight and even taught me blowdrying techniques so I could style at home. I was so thrilled with her professionalism and ability to bring me back from the brink of a crappy haircut.She was so awesome, I pre-booked my next few cuts to get on her schedule. Lets talk about Missy A. Mason and how fantastic she is. I found Missy on a recommendation from my make-up artist for my wedding day. Missy was PERFECT. I had expressed that I wanted to have a lot of clip in extensions and Missy said that she loves working with extensions-- be it clip in, semi permanent, keratin etc. She is an expert at up-dos and she BLEW MY GIRLS AWAY with what she was able to accomplish with their hair.
I myself had a 50's glam side part and barrel roll hair do and Missy nailed it on our first trial. She was superb and I was so satisfied with my wedidng day that I have broken up with my old hair dresser to start this new relationship! More...

If a hair salon can qualify as an artist's paradise, this would be the place.  It is a true salon in every definition of the word.  That is, its millennium-mod decor and original artwork make you feel as if you have stepped into someone's fashionable home.  The four main stylists Nikki, Debbie, Bethany, and Barbara would be the assemblage of fashionistas whose cuts, colors, highlights, and extension services could themselves be considered artistic masterpieces.  The wonderful aspect to be found at this beauty shop is that these ladies are interested in not only making you look good, but getting you to feel good about your hair.  They all provide tips on what products to use to keep one's mane strong and growing long over time.  In addition, they genuinely seem to care about their client's satisfaction with their work because they are willing to consult with you before setting up an appointment.  All four ladies have been in this industry for more than a decade, and during that time, the salon has received "Best of Baltimore" awards from several publications. While this is a full-service salon, it is not a spa.  So, you will not find massage services.  However, there is an esthetician on staff, Sharon, who is available for waxing and facials.  She does business under her own umbrella, Charm City Skin.  Her main focus is teaching people how to treat their skin with more care.  So, if you are feeling adventurous talk to her about a full-body scrub that she claims will cast off the dry skin caused by a bitter winter and leave you feeling moisturized and refreshed.  The thing to remember overall is that this is a salon, not a hair dresser and not some national chain where you get your hair cut.  The unspoken goal here is to help each customer find her (his) own personal style.  Therefore, the pricing reflects a more haute-couture-for-the-hair attitude.  If you are used to getting your hair styled at the strip mall, you may be surprised by the pricing.  Still, I found it reasonable when compared to larger markets like New York and Los Angeles.
