What I love most about coaching is that is different from traditional therapy. Coaching focuses on the future and what steps you can take to mold it. My mission is to give a voice to the unconscious self. I work with all people to find within themselves the value and purpose at their core and work together to design a plan to achieve fulfillment in life.

Hi, I would just like to let everyone know what an amazing experience I have had with North Star Coaching over the last three years.
Kimberly has been incredibly helpful to me. I came to her after years of talk therapy. I realized that I wasn't getting over all the pain, loss, suffering and felt stuck discussing the same negative things from my past and not getting solutions on how to move forward. After years of trying out different therapists, I realized many lack real compassion and empathy. At times I even felt I could do a better job helping someone. I couldn't understand why someone would choose this field if they did not have these natural abilities. Those are the qualities I felt instantly from Kimberly, when I met her. I came to her completely broken and desperate. At that point I didn't think anyone could really help. I told her my story but hesitated to come see her. After a few weeks she finally persuaded me to come in. There were days when my depression would take over and I would talk about my pain and sense of betrayal but I always got some advice or hope from Kimberly to look at things in a different way. She really made me feel hopeful about life even after a lifetime of emotional abuse, betrayal and going through a divorce with a narcissist, so late in life. She gave me hope again so I could believe that there is a life after. Since Kimberly has a diverse background in business, marketing, psychology, life coaching, etc. she has truly been a godsent in my life, when I didn't know where to get help. I had absolutely no one in my life I could turn to. She helped and encouraged me to keep moving forward in my life. Eventhough some hurdles set me back where I thought I was at square one. She didn't let me give up. Kimberly has certification from Harvard University. She is a speaker and has a wealth of knowledge and experience that have helped me in every area of my life. I am so fortunate that I have found someone who has so much compassion, understanding, wisdom and intuitiveness. She has been and still is my rock and I'm counting on her to help me with all my future endeavors and life's hurdles. She has literally become the light in my life. I really don't think I would have made it through the heartbreak, the legal stuff, betrayal and pain without her. What do you love most about your job?
I love that I can help individuals of ALL kinds make real, meaningful changes in their lives. I wake up in the morning excited to go to work and meet new people. Working as a life coach allows me to help people put the puzzle pieces together and view the big picture.
I've been where you are. Overwhelmed, a little lost, no time for yourself, and feeling uninspired with life. This isn't how it's supposed to be, right? You ARE right. It is in that single question that makes you the perfect client. You are already questioning the status quo - and wondering what else could be. That makes you ready to take the next step toward your future self. I can't wait to meet you!
What inspired you to start your own business?
My entire life I have felt like the square peg. I didn't always fit. I didn't know what direction to go in, but I KNEW I wasn't swimming in the same direction as everyone else. When you beat to the tune of your own drum, you aren't a good follower. I was not designed to work for someone else. I knew early on in my career that in order to honor my own talents, I needed the freedom to exercise my creativity. I've spent nearly 20 years owning my own business and it was always the best choice for me. Now, I'll never look back!
Why should our clients choose you?
The ONLY reason you should choose me is how you feel when we speak for the first time. I can talk about all the reasons I think we would work well together, and what I can offer you. Credentials, accreditations, and certificates are necessary and important, but if the personality doesn't fit, you won't get what you need from your sessions.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I conduct my in-person sessions in Naperville, IL (located outside of Chicago). However, since the COVID-19 pandemic, I have had the opportunity to work with individuals all over the globe. I have coached people in Spain, England, Germany, Canada, Hawaii, India, and across the United States. I am shocked and pleasantly surprised at how effective and convenient zoom coaching sessions have been. I am exicted to be able to expand my coaching practice outside of my physical location.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Thankfully this seems to be more on the downslope…
Aside from the exciting addition of virtual sessions to accommodate the comfort level and safety of clients, I have also taken physical steps for in-person sessions as well. While in the office, our building follows the current CDC guidelines for spacing, masking, and other safety measures. I am vaccinated and I am comfortable seeing clients regardless of their vaccination status. I always honor the client's masking preference when inside my personal office and santize after each session. Your comfort level is my top priority.
Coaching Session (Full - 55 minutes)
In our 55 minute session, we will talk about areas that you struggle, or would like to improve. Discuss how those areas are affecting you, and unearth ways to move forward in a healthy way. Then, develop a plan with actionable steps (sometimes multiple steps) that you can take immediately to impact your future.
