What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Telling a story. They say a picture is worth 1000 words but not everyone can take a single image and make those words make sense and create a story that makes us feel what the intended emotion is. Anyone can take a photo, and with todays cameras on smart phones it isnt hard to get near-professional quality. Not everyone can tell a story with their photographs.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What are you envisioning? Can you describe what the image looks like when you see it in your mind?
What do you love most about your job?
I love creating. I love taking ideas and thoughts and turning them into reality. I love the challenge of telling a story with just an image.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was at a professional turning point, I started, operated, and then had just sold a successful home inspection business. All of the bills were paid and I was at a point where I could do anything. Ive always had a passion for photography and videography and was blessed with the opporunity to officially pursue it as a career.
Why should our clients choose you?
Ive got an extreme eye for detail and am very well versed on the technical side of photography, its almost natural for me. So I can bring the technicals and we can focus on the passion and beauty of the project, making sure that we are saying what the client wants to be said with the photo.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
In some fields of photography, yes. Product photography is the easiest to operate remotely. We can discuss the products and photos ahead of time, mail me the product and Ill get those images, and then Ill mail the product back. I also travel a lot so if theres any specific scene or image you would like to see, send me a message and we will figure out how to make it a reality.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
My team and I are vaccinated and are happy to take extra precautions at client request to make sure everyone feels safe. Safe photos are happy photos.
