This place was unbelievable! Although it's not open to the public to just go walk around, I was down here for a work event and was able to come to dinner at this phenomenal place. We were able to feed a giraffe and pet a rhino which was amazing, also the owner and founder came out and told us his entire story which is extremely moving about everything he's done for these animals and the things that he's gone through. I hope that everyone gets an experience like this to be able to go listen to his story and see what he spelt from the ground-up and what has inspired him to do so! I will never forget this trip. Up close and personal views of the rescue animals they have here. Fed the Giraffe and Camel. Quite the collection of venemous snakes. The porcupine, hyena and anteater were crowd favorites. Animals are well taken care of, socialized so you can touch must of them. More...

The most wonderful staff my family and myself have ever met! They are so helpful and it makes the whole experience easy. The venue speaks for itself. It's beautiful and at night it becomes enchanting! It's a rare find to have an amazing venue with staff that will work with you, to make your dreams come true. If I could do the night all over again. I wouldn't have changed a thing! Book this venue and you will never hear the end of it from your guests. More...

Best part of this place? - - Getting there! I thought we were going to immerse in another world, one where cool African animals roam and we sample weird foods and get a little thrill of danger from both. Well, it sure is a different world: out in the land of the cracker and the hog hunter, down one crushed coral lane after the next. Is this what the earth looked like during the Paleozoic era? When dinosaurs roamed these swamps? Are we going to see an alligator on this drive? Is that sand all under the wheels? Was this whole area under water at some point? Is the water going to flood back in sometime next week? Who lives out here? WHAT WAS THAT SOUND?!After the ride out there - way way out there - you enter, well, a cool world. Cool atmosphere, surprisingly good food, friendly vibe. When is the next time you're going to touch a rhino? Snuggle with a giraffe? Watch a chimp stamp and scream - and wonder if he's planning to pull my arm out of its socket? Contemplate the gorgeously patterned hind end of a zebra who - Miles Davis-like - refuses to face his audience. In the immortal word of Nigel Tufnel: None. Get there if you can! More...

This place is awesome. Â I'm pretty sure NGALA is only open to corporate events and not individual visitors, but for those planning these sorts of events out there in and around Naples, NGALA should be in the itinerary. NGALA is family-run and mom, dad, son, and daughter are all involved. Â They take in animals who were in the not-so-fortunate circumstances and bring them to this wildlife reserve. Â The enclosures the animals are kept in are not tiny like others I've seen - they have a large area behind the viewing area that they are able to roam free. Â NGALA is a different experience for visitors in that you can get super close to the animals versus just looking at them from afar. Â I touched a white rhino and alligator and fed a camel and a giraffe! Â So awesome. There's also other entertainment like African drum playing, contortionist, fire eating/playing, man on stilts, and a cool singer guy during dinner. Â Dinner is served under an elegant tent outdoors and the food is actually quite delicious - cheers to the chef. Â The salad was pretty basic, but the chicken and fish entree and both the chocolate and apple crumb desserts were amazing.I had a great experience here - one I'll definitely remember. Â These guys know exactly what they're doing here and I did not once feel sorry for any animals, which I can't say about some other places I'd been to in Naples. More...
