My home inspection was done September 22, 2021. I didn’t move at my property until November 1 but slowly as living in I noticed many things were damaged, broken window, no window shielding that bringing me $200 gas bill! wet damaged floor, whole 2 broken cabinets in my kitchen, kitchen appliances were not working, front lights don’t even a connection at all! Ripped & cheap vinyl flooring! Fireplace didn’t work!! Failed sum pump that have already caused damaged to my whole basement! So many weird patches on the ceiling! What else to mention!! Such unprofessional and ridiculous services I was provided with total failure report! I called and complained on November 24, 2021 I was told to submit pictures and I did and nobody never got back to me! Just ok. Pros: responsive and scheduled quicklyThey had some clerical problems like loading the wrong report for me. I had to ask the inspector to come back out a second time to look at the crawl space because I was concerned about a water issue. He didn't find anything the first time because he didn't actually enter the crawl space, just took photos from the entrance. On the second visit he had a camera on a pole, but without a light it wasn't very helpful in the crawl space. He did find water there on the second visit, but it's two weeks out and several phone calls later and I haven't yet received any photos of the water -- which would help me show the companies I'm trying to get repair estimates from. Overall I just wasn't greatly impressed with the thoroughness of the inspection. More...

He was punctual, professional, friendly and knowledgeable in everything he inspected within my soon to be home. I didn’t have many questions because he explained the entire process in great detail as he went along. Our house is under is under contract and the buyers inspector found fire damage in our attic that even we were unaware of. We called on Next Day inspect to do an attic and roof inspection so that we can have a thorough inspection of our own. Their report came 72 hours after the inspection. I also ordered a permit history for our home just to see anything that might have been done. That report was sent as well. The report was very detailed and plenty of pictures. I did have to ask them to edit the attic report to add an important line in the notes that was left out about the attic that was discussed, but besides that the report was exactly what we needed to be able to see the attic without going up there (that's a no for me!) and have all the details we needed without relying on the buyers report. In 2008, I began working with different banks and asset managers. I provided them with residential and commercial property condition reports. The condition reports focused on the condition of various interior and exterior property characteristics.

Roof Inspection

Four-Point Inspection
A four-point inspection will look at four major components of a home. This is not the same as a full home inspection. Insurance companies will often ask for this type of inspection for older homes as their components are more likely to fail than newer homes. They generally ask for a four-point inspection if the property is 25+ years old to see the current condition of the components. Four-Point inspections are also needed by insurance companies to obtain or maintain your home insurance policy. A four-point inspection can also be done for pre-offer scenarios. The four systems that are inspected are electrical, plumbing (connections/fixtures), HVAC, and structure.
Air Quality Testing
NextDay Inspect® provides air quality testing so that you are aware of pollutants that are commonly found in indoor air and can cause many harmful effects such as respiratory irritation and illness.
Mold Testing
If you have any concerns with potential mold growth in your property, we can do a mold inspection for you. We use a moisture meter and infrared camera to help identify active leaks or areas with the potential for water intrusion.
Radon Gas Testing
At NextDay Inspect, we offer Radon testing and provide recommendations for remediation in the case that the level of Radon is above the safe levels, as stated by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), to ensure that your property is safe.
Electromagnetic Field Testing

Permit History Reports

The Repair Estimate Report uses the details from your inspection report summary to create cost estimates you and your agent can use to negotiate. The RER can save you time, energy, and stress during this post-inspection process.
Thermal Imaging
Thermal imaging helps the inspector to uncover problems that aren’t always visible to the human eye. The thermal camera employs a process that translates the heat signature in your home on a gradient scale, ranging from bright red to dark blue. Higher temperatures will translate as red, while darker colors are triggered by lower temperatures in wet areas.
Appliance Recall Check Report
The appliance recall check report will let you know what appliances that have any outstanding safety or functionality recall. If a potential recall is located, a report will be issued to the client and the agent. The report will contain the following information.
