I graduated New York Bartending School on Friday Nov 1. It will forever be one of the most memorable and emotional days for me. I chose to take the 2 week evening classes and my instructor was Bryan (hi Bryan!). I had zero experience with anything bartending when I walked in and I graduated with the confidence and knowledge of a legit bartender. Still amazes me! If you pay attention in class and pick the instructors brain (take advantage!! they are so knowledgeable!!!!!) and study study study your drinks and practice practice practice behind the practice bar you will succeed. It’s really important to note that the instructors really want the students to succeed too. I felt very supported and when I didn’t quite catch something whether it be a technique or a nugget of information Bryan was happy to tell/show me. I was the last person in my class to take the speed test (make 12 drinks in 6 minutes) everyone passed the day before on Thursday and I felt I needed one more day to study and practice so I took it on Friday. When I passed, my classmates clapped and Bryan rang The Bell and I legit cried tears of joy. I finished in ~5 mins 30 seconds. I couldn’t have done it without the instruction and support of my instructors and classmates. I put my heart and soul, my energy and time into studying and absorbing as much knowledge as I could and I freaking did it! So, if you’re considering learning the amazing skills of bartending, go for it. I don’t regret it. Worth every penny. I feel like I gained extended family members at New York Bartending School. Best bartending school in NYC! Took the week long bartender certification course and would recommend it to anyone looking to learn the in's and out's of bartending. Incredibly friendly, yet professional staff that help you learn in a comfortable environment. Unlike other schools there are several bars on premise as well as several training bars. Every student has their own station so more experienced students are not combined with new bartenders. Just graduated from NYC Bartending School and I am left with an extensive amount of knowledge that even experienced Bartender’s appreciate ! Bryan ( the owner) Alex ( instructor ) and Michelle ( instructor) were personable, funny and each incorporated the necessary tools for me to feel extremely confident in finding work. I don't even know where to begin! My experience at New York Bartending School completely surpassed my expectations! I was nervous at first, not knowing completely what to expect. ..would it be boring? are the teachers nice? will i actually leave there prepared for work in a real bar? Is this really worth all the money I spent? And i found that it was beyond amazing! The teacher/owner Brian was so knowledgeable and so patient and encouraging at all times. He was super funny and made the classes seem easy and fun! He also challenged us, so once the class was over we ALL felt prepared and were legitmate bartenders! It is definitely worth the money, the class is super thorough, you learn everything from memorizing all classic cocktails, to how liquors are made, to how to pour wines, to even gaining free a TIPS certification in class--Which all bartenders should have before working! They even let you train in a real bar after graduating to get real life experience! I already thought I got my moneys worth when I graduated, but I REALLY knew once I started working in a real bar. With resume help and everything from the school, I was able to land a great job within a month of graduating ( and I didnt really start looking until 2 weeks after) and once I secured my position, I realized just how useful the class was. Everything I learned came back to me naturally and I found myself standing out among even the most seasoned bartenders who even ask me questions from time to time! Seasoned bartenders rarely brush up on their skills, so having all that fresh knowledge really set me apart! I love New York Bartending School! It's not only a school-- its really a membership because even after graduating I can still go back to the school anytime for free to brush up on my skills. I dont think anything beats that! Es un curso muy completo, la amabilidad de siente desde que te registras, es un gran equipo de trabajo los profesores manejan completamente todo lo teórico y lo práctico, son muy exigentes además tiene asesoría en cuestión laboral, curso de manejo de el alcohol y todo es inmediato en cuestión de certificados y exámenes, lo que más me gusto es que podemos venir en cualquier momento a practicar durante 10 años ⚡️

The first two days were struggling, and I was really nervous under the pressure, but at day 3 everything began to make sense.
