I contacted Magnolia because I theorized that they had a national clientele - that someone outside of Waco would call them if they needed a home. Turned out I was right. My mom's house was in Waco but we moved her to San Antonio and I was caught between taking care of my mom there and having to deal with the house. I worked with Mario Gonzales who ended up selling the house to another realtor's client at Magnolia, even before it went on the market. He helped me with all aspects of the sale, including picking out colors for the kitchen and fixtures when I couldn't come to town to make the picks (he pulled in a designer from the firm). He also found vendors for me to perform yard work and other handyman type stuff. If you can find pictures of my mom's house on Magnolia's site somewhere, you will see what I mean about helping. It turns out, two Baylor graduates bought the house so I didn't have to appeal to an out-of-town audience, but with Mario's help, I didn't even have to pay the closing costs - it sold so fast.
