Nazareth is my go-to place for middle eastern/Mediterranean cuisine. Everyone is always so friendly whether you call for pick-up or eat-in. The gyro and shawarma are my go to and they're always delicious.We can't help but get the 1/2 and 1/2 of baba and hummus as well. We came here as a group to break the fast from Yom Kippur. My hubby and I ordered 2 appetizers (falafel and rice with dressing). The appetizers are very fairly priced. The falafels were tasty, a little small but definitely worth it. The rice was served in an unexpectedly small container. It was alright, tasty but nothing extraordinary. I ordered chicken with rice with a side of fries. The plate looked plain and it came with 2 tubs of sauce, both of which I dumped onto the rice and chicken. The chicken was tender and with the rice and sauce it was delicious! It would have been better if it came with some veggies. The fries were fresh and crispy. I don't know what all the rest of my group ordered but it all looked tasty! I feel as though the menu items are well/fairly priced. The bathrooms were clean and the staff were polite. Went for the first time and was not disappointed. I ordered the vegetarian Mediterranean dinner and it was very very good. The portion size was perfect if not spectacular. Surrounded by chain restaurants it's easy to miss Nazareth but it's worth hunting for. Genuine middle eastern food is hard to find but this is the real deal. Lemon soup is outstanding; I live 500 miles away and I want the recipe! Service was very personable. Lots of regular lunch time customers.
