What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Patience! (haha) I have over 10 years of professional experience with children from preemies and infants to older children of all developmental levels. I love getting to know my clients and have lots of fun during our sessions so we can get natural expressions and capture beautiful moments. The photograph comes last- which of course requires lots of technical and artistic knowledge!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What are you wanting to do with the images after the session? What is your personal style in your home (neutral colors, bright colors, traditional, mimimalistic, etc.)? What are your must-have images?
What do you love most about your job?
I love getting to know new people and getting to bring joy to their lives with beautiful art of their loved ones (the best kind of art)!
What inspired you to start your own business?
The portraits I have of my own children are some of my most valued possessions. Time flies as you start a family and children change so quickly (too quickly!). I feel so inspired to be able to help other families capture those moments in time.
Newborn Studio Session
Full sessions are 3-4 hours and include both posed and unposed images of your beautiful little one as well as set-ups with family and siblings.
Petite sessions are 1 hour and include neutral color schemes with your newborn wrapped, using up to 4 setups for blankets and props.
