Nashville
We at Nashville Center for Canine Behavior believe that it is not just about obedience but also about the mental balance of the dog. If a dog is mentally balanced it will be calmer with better behavior. Without that mental balance, a dog exhibits ill manners with behavioral issues.

My 1 year old cattle dog Crow was out of control before he went to Board and Train with Alex and Beth. He was reactive on the leash and my fiancé and I had been bitten by him several times, hard enough to draw blood. Crow really needed more training than we were able to give him on our own and Alex and Beth really delivered! They go above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable and confident working with your dog once board and train is over. I doubt any other training center would spend as much time and effort to make sure you are happy with your dogs training than Nashville Center for Canine Behavior. I truly believe that if they were able to help us with our anxious and sometimes aggressive cattle dog, they will be able to help you with any issues you are having with your dog and at a very affordable price! I work for a dog daycare facility in the Chicagoland area and had the pleasure for many years to be able to watch Alex in action, training all breeds of dogs, and their owners! Alex is simply THE BEST! He personally taught me a lot, as well as those who trusted in him...and there were many! He is a top notch dog trainer and I highly recommend him and The Nashville Canine Behavioral Center! More...

Alex is a great trainer. He helped me train my rescue dog, Tiara in Obedience, retrieving, agility and beginning scent work. He taught me many ways to work with both Tiara and other dogs. He is great. More...

Training is an essential part of raising and living with your canine. Our goal is to give your canine structure, manners, and consistent response to commands. This is all done with calm and patient training. Each canine is unique, therefore we address specific behaviors that your canine displays. We not only work with your canine but with you as well – teaching you to bring the best out of your dog!
Board and Train
It is essential to train dogs in a home environment and that's why your dog stays with us in our home. We are highly experienced with all breeds and sizes. We understand each dog and household is different so we create a custom program for your dog and family. By having your dog live with us we can address any issues you are experiencing in your own home. This can range from manners, such as counter surfing and jumping on people or furniture, to separation anxiety, obedience, and balance.
