My relationship with My Scottsdale Dentist started in 2014. I had an unbearable toothache. I was new to the Scottsdale area and had no idea where to go. A co-worker had suggested that I see his dentist, Dr. Poulos. I called to make an appointment and the team over there understood the urgency and squeezed me in the very same (or next - I can’t remember now) day! Dr. Poulos examined the situation and recommended a root canal. I’m no dental expert (obviously, since I needed a root canal) so he explained the procedure to me in a way that I understood. Everything went well and I was no longer in pain. It has now been almost 5 years and I have since moved 40 miles away but still will not change my dentist. Went to see Dr. Poulos with severe tooth pain this past Monday. He fit me in as an emergency and stayed over his lunch break to help. The doctor and his assistant helped me feel comfortable and relaxed (I get very nervous at any dentist). They go the extra mile to ease your pain. Dr. Poulos uses a device that made the injections pain free. Even though it was their lunch break they took their time and figured out exactly what was wrong. The doctor stayed an extra hour to perform the procedure. In no time he finished and sent me on my way with an appointment to put in my final crown next week. His compassion does not stop when you leave his office. On many occasions Dr. Poulos (not an assistant) has called to ask how I was feeling. Dr. Poulos truly cares about his patients from start to finish. He is by far the most experienced and compassionate family dentist in AZ. I highly recommend him for any and all of your dental needs. Dr Poulus has been my dentist for over 15 years! My entire family goes to him. He's helped me out during some pretty severe tooth emergencies even when I was out of state! He has never left me in a binde and always ensures that I'm very well taken care of. He's very talented at what he does. He's not super aggressive (which I appreciate) but is always making the best strategic decisions for the long term health of my teeth. I had a dental emergancy last Sat night. It involved my front tooth!. I called the office first thing Sunday morning and got Dr Poulos cell #. I called right away, Dr Poulos picked up on the first ring and told me not to worry , that he would meet me in the office right away. When I arrived he was so courteous, professional and did an excellent job. When I thanked him for disrupting his Sunday to meet me, he said it wasn't a problem at all , that he often works on Sunday. When it was time to pay, I really thought it was going to be a hefty bill as it was off hours, Needless to say , I was pleasantly surprised!!!Thank you Dr Poulos!!! More...

My son lost a front tooth today on a bounce house and may loose the other one in a few weeks. In a moment of panic, I called Dr. Poulos. He was incredibly accommodating and gentle with my son. Dr. Poulos always made him aware when something was going to happen that made noise, which is critical with young children or kids with special needs. I drive from Goodyear Arizona to Scottsdale to see my Scottsdale dentist he's truly amazing always takes care of me when my Invisalign broke he took care of it got me a replacement actually modify my old Invisalign to work temporarily until I could get the replacement back he's truly an amazing guy takes care of his patients like no other dentist I highly recommend my Scottsdale dentist

Dr. P is mine and my families go to dentist for ANYTHING down to just a simple cleaning. He is the sweetest and most patient man you will meet in his field. I hated the dentist, he helped me get over my fear with his small talk and distracting me w/ photos of adorable fluffy animals on the ceiling. He is constantly talking about his love for the profession & constantly learning the new tech coming out & new procedures to better advance his skills and keep his patients happier. Dr. Poulos came to the rescue today! I have a chronic clenching problem and managed to break off a piece of my molar. I was referred by my regular office to this office as an after-hours emergency office. When I called, I was out of my mind scared, because I have never had this happen before. As a recent dental hygiene graduate, my teeth and great oral care are of the utmost importance to me and to my career. Dr. Poulos told me not to worry and come in first thing in the morning. I appreciate his kind and open demeanor, and as a patient, it stood out to me that he really loves being an excellent doctor. I have to say that I’ve never felt so welcomed and so at peace at a dentist office. Dr. Poulos is amazing and their techniques are top of the line.
