Our 3 year old dog desperately needed some skills and this was the right place to take her. Not only did she get trained, but we did too and that is totally part of it. Adrienne was very thorough and clear with her instructions and the change in our dog is notable. I would highly recommend this program if your dog and you need some work and you want to feel comfortable that your dog is attentive and listening. This was our first "spirited" dog (and have had dogs my whole life). I kept thinking I could train her, but I couldn't. This was totally the answer. We'll likely be trying some other socials and programs with MDGC too. Adrienne is very helpful and super knowledgeable. More...

We have been attending classes at MDGC for almost a year and have been very pleased with both the classes and the outcome for our dog. We began planning only to take a basic puppy class...but the classes have been so beneficial and fun we have kept going! MDGC offers a wide variety of classes and has something for almost any dog; we have done varying levels of obedience as well as beginning "out and about" classes in the community and have seen a dramatic difference in our dog's comfort level with new situations and general attentiveness to commands. The training style is 100% positive reinforcement - obedience is taught using a dog's natural desire to please (and some treats!) and it really does work. The instructors are knowledgeable and will take the time to get to know you and your dog, and find approaches that will work for dogs that are sensitive or reactive. Highly recommend! More...

My dog and I have been enjoying My Dog's Got Class training with wonderful owner/trainer, Adrienne and 'The New Jersey Dog Coach', Anita, for over a year, starting with Basics 1 & 2 and a 3rd application class where Adrienne helped us to transfer these skills to real life scenarios. Needless to say, Adrienne got us hooked! After Beamer turned 1, he (ahem, we...) have taken and passed the dog therapy course and are embarking on a volunteering dog therapy venture where Beamer gets to affect others with his positivity and unconditional love. Anita led the way with this goal and, subsequently, I decided to benefit further from her tutelage in her tricks class now, which will allow Beamer to be even more entertaining on his therapy visits! I must say how perfect Anita is in what she does! She is truly a natural in the way she loves and teaches the dogs, and how she instructs and coaches us, humans. Her classes bring understanding, smiles and giggles to all involved and it is evident that she truly has a gift! I enthusiastically recommend My Dog's Got Class to all who want to embellish their relationship with their adorable doggies! More...

Well, everyone knows, when it is time to send your kids to school, you only want the best. First, you have to do your research and make sure the school is a good school. Meaning great teachers who love to do what they are doing and are experienced enough to teach your kids. Next you have to choose between a public school, which has a lot of students or a private school, which has a smaller amount of students. Last. You want a safe place. A place where they can learn and flourish. At the same time, you want a place where they can learn to socialize and be able to express themselves properly. To become the best at what ever they want to become. For my family, this was the place for our Bella. We wanted to have Bella to be trained to be a therapy dog. I knew she could do it, even though she is a senior, I just needed the best place to have her trained to receive the proper training. So, I did my research and I looked around for that special school . Using the phone book, the internet and word of mouth. Finally, through word of mouth, I found it! My Dog's Got Class! It was like finding the Harvard of dog schools amongst a pool of just regular dog schools. Everything I wanted and needed was right in front of me. So, if you are seriously looking for the best training school for your dog who really cares and wants the best for your dog. Well, "My Dog's Got Class" is it. You can stop looking. This is everything your dog and you want and need. Oh, and by the way, our dog Bella, well, she is now a senior registered and licensed therapy dog. More...

To everyone looking for an amazing trainer Adrienne has the whole package!
She takes great pride in her work and has an amazing personality! She takes takes time to understand what is best for the dog and family to improve the issues.
The school is quite, clean and very well organized
Quick response time when sending inquiries and Adrienne does the best she can to accommodate your schedule.
I especially love the fact that there is flexibility in time with the classes.
The training methods are especially positive and easily transferable to apply in the home. Some trainers use harsh methods to train a dog- Adrienne uses positive reinforcement which improves the communication between owner and dog. These methods are easily transferable and truly pleasant and positive!
Our little Sadie has come so far since going to classes and spending time with Adrienne. We can't thank you enough for all your awesome work!

I can't begin to express my gratitude to the staff at My Dog's Got Class.

My family adopted our dog at 2 months old from a shelter in NJ. We fell in love with his adorable face and couldn't wait to welcome him into our home. However, after a few days of incessant growling and resource guarding, I called the shelter and left a message that said something like, "I am going to hire a trainer and if this dog's behavior doesn't change, I'm bringing him back!".

A friend recommended that I bring our dog to My Dog Has Class, which was the best advice I could receive. I can tell you that Adrienne, the owner and her incredible staff have transformed our dog into a well behaved delightful guy. Their philosophy revolves around thinking about a dog's developmental stage and rewarding good behavior.

Since he's been attending class, he's learned how to do many things like walk on a leash, wait his turn patiently and give and take play with other doggies.

My family is thrilled. We have the dog we've always wanted. He's been a delight on the beach and well behaved in our friend's homes. All of this wouldn't be possible without My Dog's Got Class!

This is a wonderful and safe space for dogs to learn. I highly recommend it!

This review is about Anita Quinn. I have attended two classes with my dog Lilly. The Pet Therapy Prep Class was first, I have to say that I have attended many classes with various instructors with different teaching styles and hands down, Anita has been one of the most knowledgeable and fun instructors I have ever met and worked with. Not only is she teaching the class, she brings the hands on experience from doing pet therapy work herself to the classroom, the dog and owner. To simulate the "real life” examples Anita organizes props and volunteers which makes the class informative and enjoyable. Every class started on time and we never were rushed out after our one hour class. I write this after passing my Pet Therapy Test and doing therapy visits, I am so thankful that I attended and that Lilly and I had Anita as our instructor.
The second class was Canine Fitness, I have to admit that I never really saw Lilly and I doing any fitness / agility work. WOW, I was wrong. This is amazingly fun, this class gave Lilly so much confidence and it was an excellent class to build on the Therapy Prep class, it also will make her feel confident when we visit various locations when doing therapy work.
