Very professional and personable service.  They do in-home visits as often as you need (every other day, daily, multiple times/day) and spend a min 30-min in your home interacting with your pet.  They'll take care of food, water, litter box or taking the dog for a walk.  They'll text you photos or video of your pet, so you have proof of life (LOL).  Would highly recommend this company. We ONLY use Mutton Chops Pet Services to take care of our cat when we leave town. They are super reliable and truly care about all animals. A special thanks to sitter, Heath. On his most recent visit he cleaned the litter, fed our furry friend, and even brought his own laser pointer to give our chunky boy some exercise. We appreciate and have had great experiences with the whole team, though, and everyone should use these services. Your pets will be so much better off in their care than being boarded somewhere. We have been using Mutton Chops Pet Services for nearly a year now and couldn't be happier!  I did a lot of research before selecting them, and even had another group come in before, but no one could match the care, compassion, flexibility, and affordability of Mutton Chops.  Julie, Alix, Brennan, Luke, and the rest of the walkers have been so wonderful to my dog.  I just feel so comfortable and safe leaving him in their care whether it's for a daily walk or to take care of him when I'm away.  I was a little apprehensive at the thought of giving my keys to a stranger, but from the moment I met Julie at the first consultation, I immediately felt at ease and knew this would be a good decision.  A couple of times, I've come home a little early and ran into either Julie or Alix with my dog, and I've been amazed at how comfortable he is with them.  Surely it's a testament to how fantastic they all are and how much he likes them. I couldn't close without mentioning the daily text messages that I get after each walk letting me know how it went and the occasional photo showing how happy my dog is.  The little touches really make a huge difference!  I'm so glad I found Mutton Chops! I cannot speak highly enough of the Mutton Chops team, particularly Alix.  A few months ago I adopted a highly dog-reactive, people loving mutt from the Stray Rescue of St. Louis.  My sweet darling of a dog was an absolute terror to walk in the beginning - she would lunge at other dogs, make horrible barking and growling noises and was generally uncontrollable on the leash.  When I was looking into dog walking services, I told Julie (the head of the Mutton Chops op) about my situation and asked if they could handle it.  She said they were more than prepared and she was not lying.  Since my dog started receiving daily walks from Alix, her walking behavior has done a complete 360.  She is so much calmer, quick to respond to commands and generally a much easier dog to walk on the leash.  Throughout the several months she (and Julie) have walked her, I have received and followed plenty of helpful advice and tips on how I can help my dog feel safer and more secure on our walks.  They really go above and beyond for your dog - and the daily text messages while I am at work (sometimes with photos!!) are a really nice touch.  I would recommend Mutton Chops to anyone who has a dog because they will take care of your pet with as much care as you would.  Really, deserving of the five stars listed here. I love my pets like they are my children and don't trust just anyone to care for them. Julie and Mutton Chops have always provided great care for my babies, sending me texts and pictures while I'm away so I can relax knowing that they are in good hands. We have been using Mutton Chops since we moved to the city a year ago. We were a little worried about finding a dog walking service because our schedule changes a lot. From the first time we met Julie and some of her employees, we knew they would be great. They are professional, and it is obvious they love the animals they work with. They text after each visit with your dog, and even bring in packages delivered to our door. They have stayed with our dogs over night and send pictures and updates. One time our house alarm went off and neither of us could get home (turned out to be a false alarm and the dogs probably set it off). I texted our walker about an hour before she was scheduled to walk the pups about what was happening, and she offered to go right over to our house to check on the dogs and make sure everything was normal with the house. Talk about going above and beyond! We are so thankful for finding Mutton Chops. More...

I have been beyond happy with Mutton chops! Julie and the team provide exceptional service and I trust them implicitly with my pets and in my home. My dog has some challenging anxiety issues and they have been wonderful and patient with her. I love the fact that I get updates via text message every time they visit, and every team member I have interacted with is wonderful! I have used Mutton Chops for over 2 years and they continue to impress me with their professionalism and dedication to my pet.  I have a big dog who doesn't get along with other dogs.  Julie and her staff have been absolutely great at taking care of him.  She has even recommended dog trainers and more importantly provided reassurance that he's healthy and happy.  I recommend Julie and her staff to anyone with a dog.  I don't trust many people to take care of him, and Mutton Chops is my first choice. Mutton chops is the best. We have called on Julie and her team to help us with our two dogs, Abby and Rogue since we moved to St. Louis in 2011. They are fantastic. I get daily mid-day visits, and mutton chops can do whatever you need, they are great.Whenever we are planning a trip out of town, they are our first call. They stay with the pups and give them tons of one-on-one attention.  Plus, it gives me peace of mind knowing that someone is checking on my house and it's in great hands. I love the text updates, it's so convenient, and I love the photos MC will send as well!  Abby hates the kennel, hates being without people, hates car rides. This is such a great solution for us, and they are both so happy. We have had Julie come by and watched Abby just shower her with love. It is so good to see how much my dogs love them.Personal story - Julie has even gone so far as to accept an overnight weekend with our dogs last minute (read: the Wednesday before) Thanksgiving. We had a family member pass away that week and so I booked a kennel thinking they would take Abby - and she ended up getting kennel cough and not being able to stay at the kennel. Julie to the rescue! She is truly a super hero.I also love the Mutton Struts - they are a group walk in Tower Grove Park that you can take your dogs on. It's free, it's fun, it wears my dogs out for the rest of the day so I can get some things done in peace!We are relocating again and honestly the biggest thing bringing me down is leaving Mutton Chops. I can only hope we find a team that comes close to being as great as MC, but I doubt it. I'll remain hopeful! More...

Mutton Chops Pet Services does overnight stays, pet walking, poop pickup and pet photography. They were so amazing watching my dog and cat while I was away. They even sent me a text update with a photo of my dog which was so sweet.  We returned home to find a card with a long update of their evening together. I can tell that Oliver and Hobbs were in great loving hands. The rates were very reasonable compared to some of the kennels that scare the heck out of my pets.
