Megan provided the music for my wedding and reception. SHE IS AMAZING. She made suggestions and provided guidance for things my fiancé and I had never even considered (and would have been sorry about afterward). She was  courteous and thoughtful and never pushy or impatient with us, even though we had all of our 9 children and 5 grandchildren standing up with us.  She provided some terrific uplighting and her sound system was fantastic. Megan was the DJ for our wedding in August, and I can’t say enough amazing things about her!! She made our day so special, listened to all of our requests! We met twice before the big day, we went over specifics on how exactly I wanted each song played, she really listened to our wants/needs and gave us some helpful advice on how to introduce songs, etc. Megan was more like a coordinator, she made sure our entire wedding party was in sync, and knew exactly what was going on. She made sure to make special announcements about our guestbook, (she even passed it around to tables when she noticed people weren’t signing), our late night snacks, and even helped the photo booth coordinate. I could not say nicer things about Megan. My husband and I got married last month at the Old Town Hall and we kind of had an image about the décor we wanted, the food, the cake, the dress, and the people…. but the DJ…..that’s what stumped us. How does one go about picking a DJ? A DJ can really make or break the reception and we did not know how to go about picking a good one. All other vendors typically have something to show of their work (the photographer, the florist, the bakery) but a DJ you have to have someone that can vouch for them. Ingo and Sandra (the owners at the Old Towne Hall) had recommended Megan. They said that she had done a lot of work there and she was AWESOME. So we decided to meet with her. Right off the bat she was easy to get a hold of and real down to earth. Throughout talking we found out that she had done one of our mutual friend’s wedding that we didn’t know about. After we left the meeting I called our friend to ask her how she liked her as a DJ….they LOVED her as well. So without looking for anyone else we booked Megan with confidence. We are so happy that we did. She was awesome to work with and really went above and beyond the work of a DJ. She brought her party lights and had people on the dance floor ALL night long. She even did our ceremony music and provided up-lighting for the venue that totally transformed the space….for the same price. She is totally reasonable. She played a great variety of music and we couldn’t be happier with how the night turned out. My husband and I would definitely recommend Music That Moves to anyone looking for a DJ! More...

if you are ever lookin for a DJ....look no further....Megan from start to finish helped me with the whole process. i didnt realize how big a part a dj played in a wedding until we started. she took time to know all of my wants and helped me lay out the whole timeline...she was very upbeat and friendly to keep everyone movin and groovin and involved. she has a passion for all music which allows her to satisfy everyone attending...there was no need to pick a line up of songs that was a relief...my wedding day was literally perfect, she layed it out so smooth and ive heard nothing but praise from my guests! i love you meg....thank you and your husband again! Megan was an excellent DJ for our Girl Scout Service Unit Sock Hop. She consulted with our Girl Scout troop in advance by volunteering her time to talk to the girls about owning her own business. She also gathered a list of songs from the girls and double checked the appropriateness of each song with me before the big dance. At the Sock Hop she arrived very early to allow enough time for set up. Megan kept 300 girls entertained and dancing through a variety of songs, dance moves and small dance contests. The Girl Scout leaders were pleased with her energy level, appropriateness and price. We have hosted this Sock Hop event every year, and Megan was the best DJ we have ever used. Megan was recommended to us by Ingo and Sandra from the Old Towne Hall. We booked her for our wedding and she was amazing from day #1! Megan was so easy to contact via phone and email. My husband and I were very specific for our playlist and Megan was perfect! We were able to choose each song (with some great suggestions from Megan) from the cocktail hour to the very last slow song. We hired Music that Moves for our wedding. Megan was extremely helpful when it came to choosing songs, cutting custom songs, and tailoring the music to our tastes. She was easy to contact when ever we had questions or needed someone to talk about song ideas with. Everyone loved the music she played. The music was never too loud that you couldn't have a conversation, and the sound quality was excellent. She provided microphones for the officiant, maid of honor, and best man's speeches.
