After seven days on the road my boyfriend and I happened to take the long way home to NY and stumbled across mulligans. The food was absolutely great the service was exceptionally fast and atmosphere was fun, the wait staff was extremely friendly and we had an all around great experience! Thanks !

We have never had bad food here. We went for dinner this evening and I had the Mahi and Shrimp special. This was the absolute best food that I have had in a restaurant in a very long time. Neat little place. A little different because it has a bit of history in that it is a little older. Food was good. Atmosphere was nice. I was part of a group with separate checks, which is always problematic, because most places don't square that away immediately; yet here, the waitress used some sort of electronic order system on the wall next to the table and still got my order wrong and charged me for something someone else got. It wasn't a biggie. I would still recommend this place for the retro ambience, the food, and using crushed ice (instead of cubes) in their drinks. More...

Mulligans is one of our regular stops during our annual OBX fall trip. It doesn’t disappoint. We love the unique vibe and setup with multiple dining areas and tiki bar outside. One of my favorite places to eat in Nags Head. Multiple levels to enjoy but if you can, head to the top floor. Huge bar with access to the rooftop bar. The rooftop, with the featured tiki bar and ocean views, wasn't open for service when we were there but I'm guessing it's a very popular spot when it is. Mulligans was great! They served me and my family well. They left me full and satisfied! The salad I got was delicious! The hush puppies are a must have! I must've gotten 3 orders while I was there.
