What do you love most about your job?
I enjoy helping and celebrating students as they unlock their “mysteries of mathematics” in a safe and supportive environment.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I recently retired as a community college math professor. Though I did not enjoy teaching a full class online, I did see value and enjoyment in teaching students one-on-one virtually.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have a teaching degree along with two math degrees and many years of experience teaching STEM-related mathematics courses (Algebra through Calculus) in both high school and community college settings. In my lessons, I incorporate organizational skills and growth mindset philosophies that students have found both helpful and transferable to other classes.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
YES, I prefer to offer my services online/remotely! Clients are able to access my schedule and sign-up/pay for sessions directly through Calendly. A confirmation email with Zoom link is then sent with our specific meeting date and time. During the online session, the client is able to see my writing as I am explaining procedures. This allows client's questions to be answered immediately as well as visually.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I provide my services online so direct contact is not an issue.
