Loved this restaurant! We had the best experience. The food was amazing. We had the calamari, crab and lobster won ton, and pizza. (Yes, pizza!). The live entertainment was next level. Very good place. Good environment. Clean restrooms. Outdoor sink near the restrooms for washing off after having crabs. Indoor and outdoor seating. Hightops by the bar. We ordered raw oysters, which were really good. Lobster and crab wontons were good as well; just be careful, they are a lot hotter inside than they feel, LOL. We got the double lobster roll so we can each have 1, and they were really good. My recommendation for this is to chop the lobster more as I had to do some finger pulling after a bite because some of the pieces were large. The lobster bisque was really good, great flavor. I am honestly ashamed to say I have given this place 5 chances to do better. The food is terrible, the service is slow and the drinks are not good at all. The last time I was there it was for the Benjamin's Debut performance and I should have known better but I went because I wanted to see the Benjamin's. They charged a $10 cover (wether you were there to see the band or eat at the restaurant) which we were ok with because we had been on their website before going and saw their late night happy hour from 10pm - 1 am Thursday - Sunday. Since it was a Friday we figured the cover would be ok. It did not turn out that way. They "claimed" they had not updated their website and happy hour was not available as advertised therefore everything was full price. We knew it wasn't worth it but we had already paid the cover so we stayed. As per usual the food was terrible, the service was slow and the drinks were worse than ever before. I highly recommend Mr. Crabby’s for your next event. They provided some of the food for my Christmas party and did an excellent job so I decided to use them for all of the food for my son’s college graduation party and everything from the bacon-wrapped shrimp to the filet mignon was absolutely delicious. If I could give zero stars I would. kids good was supposed to come out with appetizers. Appetizers came out a full 45 minutes after ordering, no kids meal in sight, no plates to eat the appetizer on. Appetizer was clams oregenato...or their version of them anyway. We saw other tables send them back around us because they weren't very good. We are then anyway because we were hungry. we were told there was a backup in the kitchen. I assume it was because they were short staffed because their were a lot of empty tables. Food comes finally, but not mine! My son got a steak that was supposed to be medium rare and it came completely burnt and gray. It wasn't a cheap meal so we sent it back at that point. The whole family finished eating and my meal still hasn't come out. Scallops, which take minutes to cook? On top of it my daughter said her soda was gross which we couldn’t believe, but my husband took a sip and sure enough, tasted salty. It was one thing after another. Two waitresses came by and said they'd talk to manager. Manager never came over but I did see her casually walking around as if there wasn't chaos going on. So many tables were sending food back. UPDATE - We came over the weekend. Told by our waitress that the place was under new management. I can only speak to my dish but I ordered the Linguine with clams. The dish came out with two little empty clam shells and what looked like canned clam piece's throwing about which amounted to about two tablespoons worth. YIKES!!!.....if this is what the new management is doing......bye bye Mr. Crabby's. I did enjoy the Oysters..... Other members of our group didn't find their choices that appealing either...... 3 years ago - So far, so good. We have now been twice and food has been good. Broad menu items. Honestly this place is a great restaurant. They have 2 halves, a dining area and a bar area. So if you want it a little quieter you can avoid the bar area, since the bar frequently has music. Even in the dining area there are some TVs still scattered around so you can watch stuff if that's why you're there. I've always enjoyed the food here and especially the fact that some of the menu has multiple order sizes. For nice days they also have an outdoor seating area.
