The food is so fresh and tastes delicious. My husband said the steak rice bowl was the best he has ever had. I had the chicken piccata which was lemony and light. The food is not salty, but extremely flavorful! We ordered to go they waited to fill our drinks until I was there to pick it up. The atmosphere was very inviting with a musician playing a guitar and a huge community table. The staff was so kind. Highly recommend. More...

Yum! There is nothing you can order that will disappoint. This is really good food made with a while lot of heart. Some items are served as sides, and there's more than one way to order your meal . .. Sandwich, bowl, etc. It's all so good. We had their individual Thanksgiving meals and were amazed at how delicious it all was. Don't think twice ... Just go. Recommend the Lomo Saltado. More...

Great restaurant and ambiance, very trendy and comfortable. The food is delicious and the service is outstanding to the point that the very owner is involved in making the experience unbelievable. Google describes is Peruvian food, but that is deceiving because it’s so much more than simply Peruvian. I would most definitely recommend Mouthful Eatery. More...

Yummy! I could eat here every day! I've had the potato soup and green beans, the kale salad with chicken and tofu and my husband loves the savory steak bowl. Staff is friendly, accommodating, and prompt with orders. The dishes are ample and so tasty and fresh! I wish I'd discovered this place sooner! It's a surefire favorite of ours now. More...

Probably a bit pricier than other restaurants in the area, but is commensurate with the food quality and freshness  you can expect. Great mix of Peruvian food.  This was my first time trying this type of food and I was pleased by the flavors and presentation. You order at a counter and food is delivered 10-15 minutes later. My wife, two teenage boys, and me all found this a great overall dining experience. The only criticism is their price. While it felt reasonable for the quality, it was kind of a surprise to spend $80 for lunch for four people. More...

Thanksgiving NEVER tasted so good! Â We have been enjoying the food from Mouthful for quite awhile. Â When we learned they were doing individual Thanksgiving meals, we decided it was perfect for three . .. my 93-year-old mother, my husband, and myself. Â We were all knocked out. Â My mother doesn't get too excited by food much anymore but she has become an instant fan of Mouthful. Â The food is fresh, creative, delicious. Â My husband and I can't get enough ... once a week sometimes. Â We also love the people there ... the owners, chefs, wait staff ... all very friendly and helpful. Â Highly recommended! More...

I've been hearing great things about this spot so I decided to pop in for lunch while killing an hour before heading back to work. Ordered the Senor Pavo (roasted turkey bowl with avocado, romaine, sriracha aoli) and was blown away at all the flavors this bowl packed in. As someone who has never really tried Peruvian cuisine, I didn't know what to expect but so glad I did come in. Quick, tasty and a unique spot that I'll definitely be coming back to to try their other bowls and sandwiches. More...

I've had a run of good reviews, and good experiences, at local restaurants lately, and Mouthful Eatery is no exception.I went for lunch a few days ago, and had the Lomo Saltado bowl - a bowl prepared with steak, grilled peppers and onions, and a few other ingredients. Mine was made with rice, but they also had greens and quinoa to choose from.I didn't try the sandwiches or wraps, but ingredients were similar, and I imagine they'd be similarly good. Also had a pineapple lemonade to drink. The food was great - not oily, with appropriate quantities. Not enough to overwhelm you, but enough to keep you from leaving hungry.Service was fine - you order at a counter, and the food is brought to your table once ready. The prices, I'll be honest, we a bit steep - more what I'd expect to pay at a  "sit down, table service" type of restauant, than one where you order at a counter. But, considering this is on TO Blvd, close to Westlake, it wasn't too bad.I don't know Peruvian food in particular all that well, but I can tell you the veggies were fresh, the meats tender, and overall it tasted homemade, not "delivered in a truck".There's a small amount of street parking nearby, but the "good" parking is in a private gated lot right behind the restaurant. Went with coworkers to lunch here, and it was so good. Everyone was happy with their food, and the service was great. I had the petite pork sandwich, and the "small" sandwich was like a normal sandwich size. It was extremely juicy and flavorful, and the sweet potatoes fries were exceptional. Several of my coworkers had to take food home in boxes because the portion sizes are so big. All in all, highly recommended. More...

Note: With my own personal preferences, it would be 3.5 stars, but 4 stars for a generalized audience. Came on a weekend for lunch and the restaurant works in the format of ordering from the cashier and you are given a number where a server will bring the food over to you. Wide open ambiance and definitely good for groups. There are large mess hall style tables at the center and various standalone seating around them. In total, we had the la sarita (roasted pork) in the house baked ciabatta (sweet potato, pickled red onion, and aji Amarillo aioli) and a bowl with steamed white rice with roasted pork with a fried egg added. On the side, we got the not so small order of crispy yucca (fries) that came with huancaina sauce (a spicy cheese sauce). Then we also tried their house-made lemonade and their coconut flan. Starting with the main entrees. The roasted pork is very similar to pulled pork. We didn't really taste a huge difference when thinking of the two and if barbeque sauce was added, it would have tasted the same I think. Obviously, the same pork was used and I think in the sandwich, it is a bit more dried out. I think more aioli could have been added to supplement the pork's dryness. I didn't really taste the aioli, but hard to say what I should be tasting from the aioli. The roasted pork's flavors are prominent and the quantity of it is nothing to laugh at. Decent portions are provided in both entrees and definitely make a person feel full. The house baked ciabatta bread is nice and soft on the inside with a nice hard exterior on the outside. Pleasant to have and I wouldn't mind buying their bread just to eat it at home. The pickled red onions were a bit weak and didn't have a strong pickled taste, which also didn't help to cut through the strong pork taste to the sandwich - kind of lacking the 'refresh palate with pickled items for more pork' concept in my opinion. The crispy yucca was nice and thick, but not overly crispy as I was imagining. A strong starchy taste to the thicker fries and the sauce complemented well with it. The sauce doesn't have a strong cheese or spiced taste to it, but it had a nice velvety texture that coated the fries well if dipped. Â The plate of roasted pork with the rice is plentiful as well. A sauce was visibly applied on top and it helped with the pork's dryness. I think if I didn't want the bread, I would get a bowl instead. The fried egg was asked to be over easy, but it was overcooked unfortunately. The house-made lemonade was different to regular stock lemonade so that was a plus. The coconut flan was more on the miss side for us. The texture was nice, but the caramel was burnt and imparted a heavy bitter taste to the bottom and top of the flan. The consistency is more on the thicker side and more solidified. Not as soft as a freshly made flan I think. That or their recipe uses a ratio of ingredients that solidifies the flan more. All in all, not a bad sandwich place. Definitely get your bang for your buck. I wouldn't mind coming back to try other protein options. Might hold off on getting their roasted pork, because I think I've had enough of it for a while. Worth a try for your own opinions to formulate I think. More...

This is fast casual, with pretty quick service. I ordered based off others' recommendations - I got the chicken quinoa bowl. The bowl was excellent - very robust flavors as the sauce was not overpowering but complemented the meat and veggies while the quinoa was more crunch, which was good. The tomatoes were great - honestly I almost would just order a bunch of grilled tomatoes next time. I also got the lemonade and was kind of disappointed- it seemed on the watery side, which was surprising given how many others ranted about - maybe I just got a bad batch. Anyway, I would definitely go here again! More...
