I love working with families, couples and teens. My passion is for healthy, happy families. That includes relationships between couples and relationships between parents and kids. That also includes individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and other issues in life that make us feel stuck. My approach is tailored to each client or clients, but it always includes concern, respect, humor and a focus on the strengths of each client. The fit between the therapist and client is very important, so call to set up an initial phone consultation. Our first conversation is the first step towards getting better.

Trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist, or a "Systems Therapist" we recognize that each individual is just a small part of a larger system. I have experience working with tweens, teens, parents and families. Additionally, I've received specialized training in SFBT, Gottman, Prepare and Enrich, and Adlerian Therapy.

Although I love working with diverse populations, I'm a male counselor and come from a Christian world-view. I've worked in many types of jobs and have had various roles. The roles I value most are as a husband to my wife and father to three daughters who are now nearly grown!
