I spoke to the owner, asking if she could bake a baby shower cake for my daughter-in-law, who has gestational diabetes. She took the time to tell me about a delicious option. I was not disappointed! It was not sugary sweet like most bakery cakes. Everyone loved the cake and we even had enough to send home with the mother to be. More than cakes was a pleasant surprise in comparison to your average diner. The food is A grade quality and the environment is exceptional. It is so good to see customer service is not dead, and real food actually exist in our world today. The owner Leisha Rainwater- Clarke made delicious speciality cakes for our twin's baptism. She traveled from Georgetown, Kentucky to Lacey, Washington to make sure it was done correctly. Just recently she went to Panama to cater a wedding. You will not find better service anywhere! My wife has visited MTC a few times, and highly recommended them to me. Today we went there for lunch, and I had the very best White Chicken Chili and BLT that I have ever experienced! Truly wow!
They then asked me to put a sticker on their world map over my home city of Elgin, Scotland.

Delicious! Cookies, cannolis, cupcakes, and other desserts have always been amazing. The chicken and dumplings are a favorite, but I just tried the quesadilla at lunch today and was impressed again!

Ordered a cake on Tuesday and sent in an example photo for reference to what I wanted. Picked up the cake this afternoon and it was ready at the designated time and it was delicious! School was cancelled on what was supposed to be Career Day. The kids were all dressed up in their career costume with no place to go. One wanted to be a baker so off we went to More Than Cake to talk to a baker and maybe get a peek at a working kitchen. What all 3 kids got was hands-on cookie making and cupcake decorating with their own box to bring home the spoils. My friend and I went for lunch. It's a nice atmosphere inside or out on the patio. She had a hot sandwich with chips and I had the special which was a BLT and potato soup which came with chips, too. Club sandwich is excellent! Put together to not fall apart and was appreciated. It's very large and can feed two easily. Iced tea was a rich, full flavored and wonderful. The Paris Brest (dessert) is the finest brest I have ever had! Seating is comfortable and sufficient. Decor is bright and cheerful. Parking on the street isn't great but there is more in back.
