I have moved 7 times over the last three years. I've used plenty of previous moving companies, but no one compares to Moovers Chicago. They quoted us for 6 hours and got the job done in 4. Best value movers and they make sure they care for each and every piece you have from furniture to your Grandma's fine China. This review is months late, but I only just re-located our paperwork from moving! Back in August 2019 Carlos, Yesi, Errique and Carlitos hauled all our stuff from a 2nd floor walk up, to a different 2nd floor walk up.  It was hot, sweaty and gross, our stuff was huge and fragile, and the stairs were oddly narrow. Absolutely recommend!!! We've used them twice, once to move, and a few weeks ago, to pack and move our stuff, and both times have been wonderful! Specific shout out to Edgar, Abner, Lino, and Gabriel for doing such an amazing job!Every item in the house was wrapped and packed carefully, not a single thing was broken (I've unpacked most boxes now, all of the delicate ones, and there are no issues). Furniture was wrapped and padded to avoid damage, and they asked questions whenever necessary to make sure things were done in a way that we were comfortable with. It was a long couple of days packing and moving, but they were such troopers! We can't thank them enough for their hard work and attention to detail. We've had bad experiences with moving in the past, but I'm happy to say that both times we've used Moovers there have been no issues and they put the utmost care into their work! Being relatively new to the area we had no idea where to start when researching movers. I stalked Facebook pages and looked into all the recommendations there but my husband wisely trusted yelp reviews and convinced me to go with Moovers. I'm so glad he did. The "crew" (Milton, Aabener, Enrique, and Yesi) showed up ready to work. I've never seen a more efficient operation and that's actually saying a lot. They had everything needed to move all our belongings quickly and safely. We were struggling to finish last minute touches to keep up with them. My moving experience with MOOvers Chicago exceeded all expectations.My main contact there, Mari, seemed more like a friend or family member than a profit-driven business representative. I felt she genuinely cared about my best interests, always making sure that I was aware of whatever concerns might be of import to me in my move. She communicated with me in a way that was clear, thorough and reliable. (Sonia was great, too.)Our movers (Enrique, Abner and Gabriel) were both pleasant and highly professional. They did their job expertly, in a good-natured way, in less time than expected. This was my first major move and it couldn't have gone better!   The team of Edgar, Lino and Francisco arrived EARLY at my first pick up spot and had things loaded there in no time!  At the second location they were the epitome of efficient and cautious.  Everything was wrapped and covered and I had no concern about my items being damaged.   Edgar was a great communicator from start to finish.  The team unloaded everything and placed it where I wanted it and even moved extra furniture I already had at the home.  I was truly impressed and their pricing was more than reasonable for the quality of service.  Would absolutely recommend! Carlos and Sebastian were amazing! The move was over so fast, in 2 hours! They even wore foot covers to protect the nice hardwood floors. It couldn't have been easy putting them on everytime they entered the house and taking them off afterwards, but I really appreciate their efforts. I booked Moovers to move me out of a 2 bedroom, 3rd floor walk up and into a 1bd downtown high rise. Booking was easy, the pricing was fair and the communication was excellent including handling of the street parking permit. The guys who showed up were awesome, so hard working, fast and careful with our belongings. They took no breaks, were polite and finished the job 1.5 hours faster than the quote, meaning they completed the job under the estimated price. I was bracing myself for the worst since it's a move, but these guys were fantastic. They scheduled me in on short notice, arrived right on time, got my belongings in their truck like it was an Olympic sport, and unpacked it faster than I could've imagined. They were efficient, professional, and the price was very reasonable. Milton, Abner and Gabriel were great. I called for a move a week in advance. They booked the appointment and sent a follow up email and call to confirm closer to the move. They arrived 15 minutes ahead of schedule to get started and was very helpful throughout the move. Very nice and professional. I felt like Carlitos and Jesse went above and beyond. When we got to the destination house they helped put things back together and if it didn't work out they did not complain and just helped find a solution. Overall a great experience. More...

I'm not good at leaving reviews but promised these guys I would because they are absolutely top shelf. I've never hired movers before because everyone I know has horror stories about their things being broken or damaged. I have a relatively large vinyl LP collection which is of course very fragile if it's dropped on the corners, as well as a decent amount of things I don't want scratched. Fairly OCD here.Well, Moover Chicago were completely 100% great. Full move of a 3 bedroom apartment and not a single thing damaged. I waited a month to leave the review because it's been slow unboxing. Everything is in perfect condition and they went above and beyond. They were quicker than I could have imagined anyone moving all the stuff (blew me away) and finished faster than quoted resulting in a bill much less than expected on a hot day. Tipped them well, gave them food and drinks. The guys deserve it. Truely top notch and the crew of 3 that was at my place were all excellent, fun and respectful individuals. We worked with Carlos, Vesi, Francisco and Sebastian. Our move went very smoothly. Nothing was broken or scratched. We didn't pack everything well and they helped us figure it out. If you're looking for a dependable and efficient moving company, Moovers is the best!! This is my second time using Moovers to move and I couldn't have been more pleased with the service. Enrique and Landen were quick, efficient, professional and amazingly helpful. They were able to adjust to an unexpected shift in my elevator reservation time, which essentially made us have to move everything in half the time and everything still turned out in perfect condition. It was unbelievable how hard these guys worked to make our move as easy as possible.  Not only that, they all had a great attitude and were fun to be around!  I highly recommend them based on our experience.  We were their last move of the day, and unfortunately they were delayed because one of the people ahead of us took much longer than anticipated.  But they stayed in touch with us throughout the day, and they were ready to go as soon as they arrived.  They even called a fourth mover (we were only supposed to have 3) to help since they were a little behind on time.  Overall it was a great experience even with the slight delay (which was not their fault).  These guys rock. Carlos Francisco and Enrique were fantastic. They worked hard and fast and went up four flights of stairs carrying tons of boxes on their backs. Carlos in particular was always smiling and jovial despite the tough laborious task. They even helped move up some furniture that was delivered from a furniture store and dumped outside which saved me from a quandry as there was no way I could lift it. These guys are first rate!After reading through reviews for several moving companies, I requested a quote from Moovers on a Monday to pack and move my two bedroom apartment the coming Saturday. I have a TON of stuff, including a clothing boutique in addition to my personal wardrobe (I re-sell clothes online and literally had a store in my living room), lots of oriental rugs, fragile antique decor, art work and various other stuff. You name it, I hoard it...So, I braced myself for either (1) we're booked, you should have called a long time ago, or (2) an insanely high quote. To my surprise, Meri followed up almost immediately to confirm yes, they could do it, request additional information about the particulars and carefully explain the different services and pricing options. The quote was very reasonable - probably a little TOO reasonable, so I followed up with pictures of everything. The quote went up a little based on the pictures, but it was still totally reasonable, so I confirmed. Meri quickly secured permits for parking the truck and scheduled for a crew of 3-4 guys to arrive between 12-3 on Saturday. On Saturday, Milton called at 11:30 to let me know they just finished their first move of the day, were stopping for lunch, and would be at my place around 12:30. Milton, Jaime, Abner and Gabriel arrived exactly an hour later and we went through the apartment, room by room, to walk through exactly what I wanted them to do. Then they got to work packing and labeling. They were extremely careful and respectful of everything. The time quoted for the job was spot on. Before heading out, Milton gave me a run-down of any damage they noted while packing. None of it was caused by them - it was all stuff I knew about already, and in many cases it was damage caused by my own haphazard, sloppy job moving the thing into the apartment. When we got to the new place, they put protective carpeting down to protect the wood floors and plastic to keep carpeting clean. I posted up by the door and as each box or furniture piece came through, the guys confirmed with me where I wanted it. This was easy to do even with the boxes because they were detailed and organized in labeling everything. Milton also checked with me about whether to (1) leave clothing in wardrobe boxes or hang it up in the closet, (2) un-pack artwork and mirrors, and (3) remove plastic wrapping from area rugs. I haven't finished unpacking yet, but I've done most of the boxes and am just totally impressed with their packing job. What Moovers did in a matter of hours would have taken WEEKS to do myself (and it would have been a total nightmare!). Hopefully I won't move again for a long, long time, but I'll be recommending them to anyone and everyone else in the meantime. THANK YOU! More...

I am completely impressed and satisfied by Moovers Chicago! I chose them from the Yelp! reviews and they do earn their 5-star rating. Starting with Mari, who took my information and was very thorough and clear about how the move will work ... she's very professional and polite.The Moovers arrived right on time and Carlos was the Lead Mover ... he asked for a tour of the premises and made a quick evaluation of what needed to be done. Since it was a large move, I had 6 men moving my belongings from a 3rd & 2nd floor walk-up. I couldn't believe how strong these guys were and how fast they were... they literally did not stop moving. This was my first time using a moving company, and it went perfectly! The guys were all super nice and efficient, no dilly-dallying. They managed my very heavy 8' sleeper sofa and didn't complain a bit. They were careful and wrapped everything up well. I wanted to only do the minimum time to pay the least (we moved our other items), but they moved so fast that we were done in just over an hour! Amazing crew and customer service!  It was a crappy, cold winter day when they moved me.  But they were the ultimate professionals!  They communicated consistently with me as they worked. They were polite, leaving both residences just as they left them. And they were efficient and quick. I would definitely use their services again and would recommend them to family and friends! Great Service.  We got a 3 man team for a local move.  Milton, Abner and Gabriel showed up on time, and were very quick, efficient and careful.  Everything got wrapped up in blankets and plastic. The in-laws even told us the day before the move they wanted to give us some of their old couches to furnish our new house, and these guys made an extra stop to pick up the extra furniture we didnt tell them about, and we still ended up getting the move done within their estimated time.  They were also super careful about laying down mats/blankets in the new house, because the weather was pretty terrible, and there was snow/salt all over the sidewalks and stairs up to our porch.  I would definitely reccomend these guys, Quick, careful, super reasonably priced.  Definitely a 5 star from me More...

If you're looking for movers - you've come to the end of your search. Jose and his team moved me out yesterday from a 3rd floor walk-up to a 2nd floor walk-up in 3. 5 hours. They quoted me for 5.5 hours so they were speedy!Weather was -8° with a windchill of -22°!!! Right at the end, it started snowing and made everything slippery, but they were great! Great Service! If you are looking for professional movers then look no further.  We needed a move out of my storage unit into our residence. This company offered a very reasonable estimate(on which they were spot on) Setting up the appointment was painless and easy.  Carlos called me and asked if it was okay to we started earlier than my prescribed window, which was no issue. These guys were great. They took us from a third floor apartment in Logan Square to a house in the boring suburbs with an additional stop in between in 4. 5 hours. We own an average amount of crap for a two bedroom American family apartment. Milton, Abner, Gabriel, and Edgar worked tirelessly strapping 5-7 boxes at a time to their backs. They were all nice guys and hard working. My wife said it was one of the most impressive things she has seem. Also, they hustled. In other words, they didn't try to run the clock longer to get paid more. They are worth a generous tip, especially because they moved us in before this winter's first epic snow storm.
