A great portrait captures the spirit of the moment, and the personality of the people in the image.

What is the purpose of the project, and how do you plan to use the images?
What do you love most about your job?
I enjoy the opportunity of working with people, and creating images that document their moment in time - an event, a couple, a family, a child. I love when a person looks at a picture that I have taken, and that image becomes a story about that day.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked in the early childhood development field for over 20 years. I enjoyed the relationships I built with the children, families, and their care and education professionals. After receiving a hand-me-down camera, I started taking pictures of those relationships. People really responded to those images, and that hobby evolved into a business for me.
