I can’t say enough great things about DJ Johnny.he was our DJ for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary party on June 24, 2023. Our family is kinda inhibited with dancing but with his advice on the playlist, almost everyone except for a couple wallflowers were up dancing and having the time of their lives. He was also so responsive to questions and special requests before and during our event, answering e mails with a phone call within an hour or two! His personality is so very friendly and kind, which mattered so much. I give him an A++ for courtesy, customer service, and the quality of the music and sound, even the lighting. We were trying to keep the budget in line and his basic set up was very nice for the price. I was surprised it included any lighting at all, but it did. You can’t find a nicer guy. I had to give him a hug when the night was over I was so happy. Thank you, Johnny, our family had a fantastic time with you! More...

I wish I could give more than five stars. I booked DJ Johnny DeVito for my little brothers birthday party and it was a huge success. This was a super last-minute birthday party but because of the DJ the party was literally amazing. He is extremely personable and got along with everyone. My family and I had an amazing experience working with MK Event Planning. Kathy was very easy to work with and did an amazing job coordinating our family dinner. We had our wedding back in May 2022 in NC and DJ Johnnie was very professional, accommodating and nice. He walked my answered all questions and concerns we had. All of our guests at the wedding had talked about how an amazing job he did. Johnny is the man! I reached out to him to DJ my wedding this past Labor Day weekend and WOW would be an understatement. He went above and beyond to make sure my husband, myself and all of our guests had the best night and boy did we ever. His customer portal made things super easy for me to timeline and send him lists and ideas of what we wanted but honestly it was like he already knew. The setup was awesome, the music had everyone on the dance floor all night and he was so helpful when i needed assistance finding certain vendors and venues. Kathy helped my plan set up and execute my sons Eagle Scout court of honor. It came out beautiful. She took care of all the small details and made it effortless for me. She even ran out to get a pillar candle that I broke right before the ceremony. More...

Kathy was great in the beginning, but as our wedding date got closer, I got frustrated because she didn't keep notes or reference documents of the items I asked for. Her excuse was she's being pulled in all directions with her full-time job, her grandson and the wedding, but assured me my wedding would be exactly as I envisioned. SHE DROPPED THE BALL. She messed up the count of bouquets and boutinnaires that I requested. my cascading bouquet came in two pieces and looked ridiculous so I went without the cascade. the boutinnaires looked dry. as if they were made several days before and none of them looked like what I requested. She also forgot the card box. Several cards went missing because of this. Jewelry went missing from my room and she was the only person I gave my room key to. WE WERE ROBBED on our wedding day.
