Missy was wonderful to work with, very easy going, willing to work hard and even break a sweat to get great shots! She definitely has an artists eye and does amazing work with lighting! Have worked with Missy Fant on a number of photography related projects. She shot the September image for the Bee Sam Beauty calendar which turned out awesome. She is creative, hard working and easy to work with. She worked on a consumer product shoot which she staged and looped in front of a waterfall which was a real talking piece. Missy and Leslie shot a wedding at the venue I own on 10/10/15. From the moment I met them I knew they were going to do a great job! They came up a week prior to the event to scout our site and were very friendly and relaxed. On the day of the wedding they arrived early, worked well with all the guests and bridal party, and were able to put everyone at ease during pictures. Missy is a TRUE artist! She has the kind of personality that makes you feel like you have known her forever. She fit right into our wedding, making everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. I am usually camera shy, but when I look at my photos, I don’t see the ‘awkward me’, I see a natural and happy bride. She even had my kids coming out of their shell! I just can’t say enough good things about her! She has a way to play with the elements (wind, sunlight, rain, etc.) and capture the most amazing shots! If you are looking for a good photographer, don’t pass this one up; she is beyond good –SHE IS AWESOME!! I loved how prompt she was arriving and when my girls weren’t quite ready, she made great use of the down time to capture the little things, family, and friends around the venue. Missy and her awesome husband came all the way to Lincoln City Oregon to photograph our wedding! Missy is beyond amazing! She has that true artist eye that captures the most amazing pictures ever ! When trying to find wedding vendors I was trying to find someone that I vibed with, Missy and I hit it off immediately when I told her I was having a fairytale wedding with subtle touches of Disney. Missy was amazing, I am so happy we had her there to capture our special day! From beginning to end she was friendly, flexible and fun to be around. She fit in really well with our group and we all had a good time chatting and relaxing with her. She's such a rock too - I was a mess at the chapel. I am an introvert which means I do not like being the center of attention, so when it came time for the ceremony I was very anxious. Missy was calming, empathetic and reassuring to me all while, at the same time, getting great shots. I still don't know how she did it! When we got our pictures back I was blow away by her understanding of lighting and composition while still keeping it spontaneous and not too posed. Love, love, love Missy! She loves her "hobby" and is so enthusiastic! She is kind, personable and professional. She even spared a free weekend to replace a photographer for our friends, relatively "last minute" and then she thanked us for the referral! She has a great eye and talent. The team she has are wonderful, talented and extremely helpful! Missy is very flexible and willing to capture your vision. Compared to higher end studios and photographers, she was fair and reasonable in her pricing, and her as a photographer makes the experience and "product" priceless. We hired Missy to be our wedding photographer after she did an AMAZING job with our engagement photos. Her and her shooting partner Leslie made us feel so comfortable and so at ease. Throughout the entire planning process, Missy was available to us and always eager to answer any questions that we had. When Leslie and Missy parted ways, Missy informed us right away. She linked us to her new shooting partner and gave us his bio. Out final meeting ended up getting snowed out and Missy was very flexible, she offered to meet us anytime and anywhere in order to make my final planning as easy as possible. When we did meet, I felt like I was meeting a friend for coffee, she was so comfortable and relaxed.When it comes to the wedding day, Missy was fantastic! She arrived early and didn't charge us extra for the extra hour of shooting time that we got. Missy was able to deal with all of our diverse personalities without problem and she really helped to set everyone at ease.Our photos were beautiful! We started getting sneak peaks the day after our wedding and got all of our final images within 5 weeks. Missy was willing to add or adapt any editing changes that we asked.
