What makes a great website?
Building a great website first starts with understanding the consumer you are trying to reach as well as the business that you are representing. You have to understand their tendencies and thought process before you can build an effective customer journey on your site. Then things turn to the design, how do you tell your story through colors, photos, and text in an effective way that will encourage action. Finally, you have to have call-to-actions so that you can capitalize on doing everything else correctly and be rewarded with a chance to earn their business.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Who is your target customer? What are you looking to have this project do for you? Why have you selected this tactic to use vs. what else is available?
Describe your creative process.
We work our team and the client to set appropriate timelines and ensure the right amount of creative planning. We have a very collaborative approach for our team and we work to keep the client involved along the way.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
Project scope, what their goals are for the project, if they have a brand structure in place.
What do you love most about your job?
Getting to help businesses and people succeed. Marketing can be a complicated world for most people to navigate through but if we can help them communicate their message to their audience better and that makes them more successful, that's a win for us too.
I look at marketing like a challenge, if the business is that excited about their product or service, how can I get their target market as excited about it so that they choose to do business with them.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started in the agency world and grew frustrated with how the industry was set up, so I left to work on the client side of the desk for a while. One day I knew I wanted to help more people but knew I couldn't go back to the agency world as it existed, so I decided to start my own and build it how I feel business between an agency and their client should be done.
