They where AWESOME!!!! Samantha and Shawn are amazing and are great people that are a blast to work with. They both did our wedding in Mexico and it was soo easy and comfortable. As a guy im not huge into getting pictures taken but Shawn was AWESOME! I never once felt like I had a camera in my face or was being forced to take pictures. They both where great with all the other guest and they all loved them also! I had just Shawn for awhile on the day of the wedding and He was a blast, fun, funny and just an all around great person! I told my Wife that next time we do pictures for Family pics or whatever I will not get them done unless it with Mirage Photo...Thanks again Mirage Photo for everything and the most amazing pictures ever! O.M.G. Samantha and Shawn are two of the funniest amazing photographers we have met! We had so much fun with them at both our engagement session and wedding! Our wedding party raved about them also because they were so awesome! When we first met these two at a bridal show I was instantly sold. They are always up to have fun and try new stuff during shoots. During our engagement session we had so much fun when they let us pop and spray champagne everywhere and they got the PERFECT shot for our save the date!! They make taking pictures so easy and fun! Mirage photo was my best friends wedding photographer. I was the maid of honor. I don't know where to start. She was more than a photographer.
She helped me so much with the brides dress and later in the evening helped me bustle it. I would not have figured it out with out her. She was professional but warm and kind. she felt like family. I joked that she would get a great review even if the pictures turned out bad because she helped us so much. Well the pictures are done and they are breath taking. Her work is phenomenal. She really focuses on detail and capturing that perfect shot. She also brought an assistant which was great to get those extra shots!
I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Mirage Photo.

Sam and Shawn are the best. When Courtney and I were first engaged, I'd occasionally tolerated but never enjoyed photo shoots. Our engagement photos with Mirage started at 10 am, and we had so much fun that the next time I registered was sunset. At our wedding, they were like having wedding planners that took care of problems before we knew it. And afterwards, they've made all of our family photos amazing. Mirage Photo is amazing!! I am in love with our wedding photos! We got married at the Peabody Opera House in October and it was incredible. Samantha has such an eye for what works and what doesn't. It was really cool to see when she would see a spot or an object that she had to shoot us in/with! Things I never would have thought to do. Just such a vision! I was nervous because I usually hate "candid" photos of myself and I'm not the best at posing (I get awkward and don't know what to do with my hands), but she made me feel so comfortable and gave me the direction I needed with each shot! And we also got a lot of fun and silly ones too which we wanted! We will definitely be using them in the future!! I highly recommend Mirage as your photographers, you won't be disappointed!! More...

They designed the entire book for us and it is absolutely perfect. Our wedding was over a year ago so its so fun re living that day by looking at our wedding album. I was so lucky to have Mirage Photo on my wedding day! I remember researching photography companies and not knowing how to make a decision because it was so hard to choose. Then one day, I was talking with my wedding planner and she recommended I call Mirage Photo and set up a meeting; I was so glad I did! I chatted with Sam over the phone first to schedule a meeting with her. We had a meeting a few days later and I just fell in love with her and with the photos I saw of other weddings. The photographers all had experience in College Church and they had also shot a few weddings at the Hyatt so it was a perfect match! I talked it over with my fiance at the time and we agreed that hiring Mirage would be a good decision. We received a first and second shooter on the day of our wedding. I was so glad to have 2 shooters that way we would be able to capture both the guys and gals getting ready. When they arrived they were both ready to begin and had some great ideas for locations and set-up. Working with our photographers was so easy and they were so "go with the flow". We managed to get pictures at the hotel, at the church and then 2 other locations with the bridal party. Once we got back to the reception space I know our 2nd shooter went up to take some shots of the reception space and the 1st shooter stayed with my husband and me to take some more photos in the lobby. It worked out perfectly. During the entire reception I knew we had photographers in the room, but they both did such an excellent job at going unnoticed; I barely ever saw them as they were taking photos. There were times when I needed a group shot and before I even had to ask they were there ready to take the perfect photo. I couldn't have asked for a better photography company. Our pictures came back about a month later and they are excellent; it is going to be so hard to choose which ones to print for our wall. We also get to choose about 80 photos for an album that Mirage will put together for us; I can't wait to see what that looks like when it is all done. Needless to say, I was very happy with my decision to work with Mirage Photo and I would recommend them to anyone. Just keep in mind that you may have to book a year in advance! Best photographers out there. They are amazing. They fit in with the crowd which made it so much more fun for everyone. From our engagement pictures to our wedding pictures, these two did a phenomenal job.
I could not have asked for better photographers for our big day. Really looking forward to using them when we have children too. They are a fun energized couple that relate to who they are photographing which really helped make everyone feel comfortable!

If you're looking for non cookie cutter photos they are the best; we wanted unique, but classy photos that captured our personalities and we got exactly that! We got married 2 years ago and they did our engagement, rehearsal and wedding photos. We drove in 3 1/2 hours today to have them do our maternity session. OMGGGGG!!! Sam & Shawn were AMAZING! I had the hardest time picking a photographer because of all of the available options, but immediately made up my mind once I met with Sam. She was so down to earth, sweet and fun that I was instantly sold. She genuinely cares about giving you great pictures and was very reasonably priced compared to a lot of the other options I looked at. You spend ALL day with your photographers, so I was so happy and luck to have spent the day with Sam and Shawn. They are wonderful people and I'm so excited to see all the pictures they took on our wedding day. Sam and Shawn were incredible for our wedding! They do so much more than take photos. Sam helped me get into my dress, took my veil out after pictures and even bustled my dress for me! We had a huge wedding party and they kept everyone inline for pictures, which was quite the task. They made sure that the entire day, not just pictures, ran smoothly for us! I first met Shawn and Samantha at the PWG wedding show at the Ameristar. I knew from that instant that I wanted to work with them. We set an appt on the spot! When my fiance and I went too meet them, everything just clicked. I knew I wanted them for my big day! We set up the contract, and when I went by to drop it off with my deposit, they had bunnies there for Easter photos. We had no intentions of getting photos taken, however my daughter started play I g with the bunnies, and Shawn started snapping pictures. Ended up with some beautiful shots, and Shawn got my very shy daughter to open up to the camera. Sam and Shawn traveled to San Antonio for my daughter's wedding. I cannot say enough positive things about their professionalism. They work so well as a team and it was nice to have one of them with 'the guys' and one with 'the gals' while everyone got ready. They were always present but never inserted themselves into the wedding. It was a hot day and they were so attentive to the bride; mopping her forehead, fanning her dress and giving her water.
