Delicious middle eastern food in a warm and cozy environment. Mimi has one of the best Hummus you can find in Brooklyn. All dishes are not only delicious but beautiful! Highly recommend Mimi’s!

Go for the lunch special. It never disappoints. I'm big on the shawarma and carrots combo. Slow and cranky service tends to be a theme so avoid if you're in a hurry.

Of all my old haunts in the old nabe, Mimi's is the one I miss the most. The space is small and pleasant, the service good. On a typical visit, I would order the hummus (worth every penny), the stuffed grape leaves (which seem to be discontinued, but were a flavor marvel), the mujaddara (lentils, bulgur wheat, raisin, scallion, onion, and sheep's yogurt --> heaven), and the punchim (chocolate balls with pistachio). The. Best . Hummus . Ever. Have been here numerous times for comfort food Hummus. Having tried all the Hummus and shakshuka varieties, I can truly say that the original is , for me, still the main draw. Their side plates are delicious, and so are the Shakshuka and Mujjaddara.
