I was at the Forest Hills location, the food was fantastic and the service was great, my family and I left satisfied. Even though I had driven by, I had never pay attention at the restaurant, because on the side street 71 rd ? , there is no name plate on the facade, only on the Queens Blv. side, only when I drove east to west on Queens Blv I noticed the name; I think it should have a name on the side street also, because right now is a long black slab,take it from someone that works in the advertising industry!! Welcome to South Tampa ❤️❤️❤️I went the first day they were open to the public ..so there will be growing pains .so I will focus on the positive first ❤️ i ordered the family meal which was a great deal of two proteins 2 quarts of sides 4 cornbread I paid the upcharge for ribs and for brisket❤️ I also added some sides ❤️the ribs were phenomenal ❤️the cornbread and corn fritters full of flavor ❤️Baked beans tasty with a little kick ❤️Mac and cheese creamy ❤️ Most of the staff were wonderful ❤️ The bread pudding was delicious ❤️They were definitely overwhelmed and it showed to the guests not just me ❤️The creamy coleslaw was dry ❤️I did wait quite a long time for my food after standing in line to order ❤️i was overcharged twice and the cashier was definitely overwhelmed and needs more training but honestly he just could have been nice that would have made a huge difference when he made errors and I politely explained he was not charging me correctly . Judging this place for what it is... a quick service bbq joint... I give it a 5/5. MQ rivals any of the sit down bbq restaurants I've visited in the city and beats several of them. Add to it, it's faster. So if you are hungry and not in the mood for a long dining experience, this is your spot. The restaurant is very clear about allergens and that's great for anyone like me who is dairy free and gluten free. Eating vegan here would be a bit tough but it's doable. My only complaint would be the limited vegetable side options, but I'm not docking them for that because they had more gluten free and dairy free side options than other bbq restaurants I've visited in the city. They also have a mayo free cole slaw which I really appreciated. We will definitely be back.... regularly. More...

So I tried the pull pork sandwich today and it was absolutely everything! The service was quick and friendly. The pulled pork was so tender and juicy and the bread took the sauce and moist meat very well. The sandwich was very filling and paired well with the mac and cheese and scallions. Great BBQ in a casual ambiance that made me feel like I was back home in the south again! The staff was really friendly and more than willing to make suggestions and accommodate special requests. 5/5 because The food is really good though I've only tried the chicken options Considering the space I wasn't expecting a full Barbeque joint like this so that was a cool surprise and a nice change from burgers and tacos It arrived reasonably quickly (and worth the short wait)The place is clean for how messy the food is Good sized seating area, space for plenty of people, plus outdoor seating on broadway Cool rustic interior design matches the food The service is friendly   The quality that you get is above average when factoring price, a solid place for lunch, though maybe not the healthiest It's somewhere I'd go again, maybe 3 times a month, the food is consistent so I can bank on it when too lazy or not in the mood to explore The chicken is juicy and cooked really well with a nice crisp, any of the dressings that come with it is delicious, honey is my favorite though Coleslaw and pickles also go really well with it The dessert is on the heavier side but do go for the fritters, they're greatNot a fancy spot to eat at, would bring a friend for a quick bite, that's as far as me recommending it goes

It was my first time here. The selections were cool the menu was good. The food was definitely good as well. It wasn't busy at all and therefore there's always a feeling and concern if the food is fresh enough or has been sitting there, when that happens, but one thing's for sure it could have been at a warmer temperature. I got the pulled pork and baked beans for delivery, and both were a good sized portion. The pulled pork looked dry and without sauce, but when you took a bite it was so juicy and had just the right amount of sauce. I got it as a sandwich, and it wasn't too messy to eat. The beans weren't too sweet, which I was kinda bummed about cause my personal preference is for sweet ones, but they still had a nice amount of spice to them which made up for the lack of sweetness. Mighty Quinn's is legend in Berg'n. Any time I am having a bad day, I get the burnt ends + mac and cheese + a soda pop. It tastes amazing and can literally make my worst day so much better.
