I've been meaning to write a review but I'm always so busy!! So here it is, My husband and I frequented Metro bar and grill several times before we decided to move forward and plan our wedding at their event center. Daniela was so helpful through the whole process and always answered all my emails promptly. The day of the event, we had another coordinator, I forget her name, but she was also very helpful. I can't rave enough about how nice their staff has been to us and our family and friends, even before we decided on the venue.  We had provided our own centerpieces and they allowed us the opportunity to set up the tables the night before which was very convenient. We got married Saturday, April 20, 2019 in the courtyard outside and had our reception in the ballroom upstairs. The price total came out to about 12,000 for 130 people but that included options of steak, chicken and fish and we also had a specialty drink and beer to last for the whole reception. We also included the bridal suit and an extended hour because our family loves to party. There was a hick up with the beer selection we had chosen but that was quickly fixed when my maid of honor brought it to their attention. The food was great, just the steak was a little tough according to our guests, but everything else was amazing. For dessert, we selected a fun option of churro with vanilla ice cream which everyone enjoyed.  Our cake was provided through the venue because we booked at an event where we got to choose an incentive to book with them. It was such a beautiful cake and it came from Sweet Art Cakes in Pomona : ) We had the best time at our wedding and definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking for a wedding venue. We had our mother/grandmother's 90th surprise birthday party in the ballroom. The ambiance was perfect for her celebration. We had guests from all of California with most coming from Los Angeles, Riverside and Orange Counties. Pomona was the centralized place to have it. I absolutely loved this place!!! From the planning all the way to the servers, everyone made sure my husband and I were able to enjoy our day. I have been here many times! This restaurant could be considered my second home. The meals are delicious, and quite tasty. The prices for these meals are not quite expensive, so definitely, it is worth to spend some money here. Furthermore, they have a good selection of drinks. The food was exactly what you'd expect it to be, bomb. We got the sampler app and metro burger (loved the patty), with $5 craft draft (happy hour) and 1/2 off wine (Wednesdays)! To top it off I lost my phone in the restaurant and the head chef luckily found it and returned it within a few minutes! The food looked and tasted really good. The waitress was attentive. Kept checking on us since it did take us forever to order. When 3 generations get together we tend to be quite chatty and the mimosas definitely had some blame on our delay ordering. I don't remember her name but she didn't seem to mind.
