I got volume lash extensions by Kela and LOVE them.  Today was my first time getting lash extensions but I know I'm already addicted.  My girlfriends go to MeTime as well and their lashes always look good. The beauty bar is clean, stylish and comfy. I felt very comfortable and at home.  They also have a photo booth with amazing lighting for pictures and selfies. So it's been going on 2.5 years now with my favorite lash esthetician, Karen, and I like to say that it's still going strong! ! I won't trust anyone but Karen to touch my lashes now. She's super sweet and has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to your lashes and what's good for them. She will craft a design that's suitable for your eyes and face and if your lashes are not healthy enough to withstand the lash extensions, she's not afraid to let you know. And now that Karen moved to a new location, she's able to offer a lot more such as waxing, facial etc. Also ask for the volume lash extensions if you haven't had them yet. So glad I found this place. It's in Salon Plaza at the edge of the shopping center. Karen is awesome! It was my first time getting it and I was extremely nervous but she talked me through it. I've heard horror stories about getting extensions and luckily I did not have to deal with one myself. She's super sweet and the process went smoothly. During the process she explains and answers any questions you have for her until you're comfortable. I had no idea what kind of eyes or type of lashes I wanted and she took reigns on it for me. After discovering Me Time Lash Lounge, I can never go back to not having extensions. Karen does an amazing job & never ceases to help make me feel & look glamorous after each appointment. After about two years of living the lash life, I'm more than satisfied with how my lashes look and feel. Extensions do tend to fall off as your natural lashes fall out naturally so it's expected, but if you take care of your lashes as much I do then each fill lasts roughly 3-4 weeks. My lashes have endured the seas of the Carribean shores to the waves of the Hawaiian islands and yet, still managed to survive it all. If you're willing to put in the extra care for your lashes and extra dollars - you surely won't be disappointed. I discovered Me Time Lash Lounge via Groupon and friends about a year ago. Fast forward, and I have had about 3 appointments (initial application + refills) with Karen. Located within Salon Plaza, Me Time Lash Lounge is very quaint and small. Immediately upon walking in you are immersed in a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. I was super hesitant about getting semi-permanent eyelash extensions at first as I had a terrible experience with a prior technician. Karen, however, is extremely professional and knowledgeable about her work. She takes the time to explain the types of lashes that are offered, the application procedure, and the aftercare. I continually look forward to my appointments as the application process is so simple and painless. Karen ensures that you are comfortable and I will be the first to admit that I have felt so relaxed that I end up falling asleep! Karen's work produces lashes that are absolutely GORGEOUS. The lashes are incredibly lightweight and appear very natural. They dramatically enhance your overall look, hands down! Fair warning that the lashes do come with a great deal of maintenance and large chunk of change. However, if you are willing to put in the work then they are so worth it! If I could give a billions stars, I would. There are no words to express the phenomenal work and awesome service Karen and Stephanie provide! I have been coming to them every 2 weeks for almost 2 years!I grew up with very thin, fine lashes and pretty much looked like a boy growing up. I've always had to use extra volume mascara or store-bought lashes with my full-face of makeup, which became quite cumbersome and time-consuming. My sister had her lashes done and I loved how they looked on her so I decided to do some research to see where the best lash extension place would be. That's when I found Karen and Steph on Yelp. I made an appointment with them immediately and saw them a couple weeks later. Upon my first visit with Karen, we sat down she she asked me a series of questions to determine which length/size of lashes would be best suited for me. When we started the appointment, she made sure I was comfortable and walked through the procedure with me, answering all my questions since it was my first time having this done. After all was said and done, she sat me up and handed me a mirror to see the final results.When I looked upon the mirror and saw her work, I wanted to cry (seriously super corny but that's how I feel). I felt so...pretty!!! It was an overwhelming joy I have not felt since I got my braces off at 15 years prior (my teeth were so bad I needed the headgear eck!). It got to the point where I rarely wear makeup anymore because I felt pretty enough with just my lashes. It made my eyes pop out and become more prominent. I am hooked forever! After having a miniature internal freak out, I composed myself and Karen gave me detailed after care instructions to take care of my new and beautiful lashes.The lashes were made with high quality materials and never interfered with my glasses. They are extremely lightweight and look/feel so natural. I have severe chronic allergies (8 shots a week with my allergist!) and the lashes have never caused any irritation or itchiness to my eyes.There was a case where I was going to move to Colorado for a year for work. I love these ladies so much that I would have scheduled appointments for an entire year and fly back to see them twice a month. THAT IS HOW MUCH I LOVE THEM. Stephanie was my lash stylist when I visited Me Time Lash Lounge and she was amazing! It was my first time getting lash extensions and she made sure to explain all the different lash shapes and made suggestions on what she thought would suit my eye shape best. When it came time to the actual application I didn't feel a thing! Stephanie was very detailed in explaining how to care for my new lashes, all the do's/don't do's (not many don't do's) and even sent me home w. a few tools and lash wash to help ensure my new lashes would last. I've been going back and forth for some time now on whether or not to get lash extensions. After finally getting fed up with my baby eyelashes and having to put on falsies on the weekends, I decided to book an appt at Me Time Lash Lounge. Yes, it may be pricey, but there are introductory specials as well as other deals, so don't be discouraged! Karen was amazing! She's very personable and knowledgeable. She explained to me the process, gave her recommendations on style/lengths, and provided tips on the after-care. The two hours went by so quickly! I never once felt uncomfortable - Karen was extremely gentle. Once she was done and handed me a mirror to look at my new and improved lashes, I was honestly amazed! They looked incredibly natural and I couldn't feel a thing! They're super light and never get the way. I've had people tell me how much maintenance it is, but I honestly don't see it being hard to take care of at all. I'm a person who always removes my make up at night, so if you're someone who doesn't keep up with these nightly routines then yes lash extensions may not be right for you. I'm seriously obsessed. I can't wait for my two week refill, where I'll probably go a bit longer/curvier with the lashes. I got the "C" lashes initially because they're standard and I didn't want to overdo it. I love my lashes!! I've always wanted to try lash extensions and am so happy I had them first done by Karen! She is so talented! I had Karen apply lashes before my wedding to make sure they would be comfortable and easy for everyday wear.  I was beyond happy with the way they looked and received non-stop compliments.  I loved that I didn't feel like I ever actually needed to wear make-up on my eyes.  Karen is very detail oriented and so helpful with pointers on how to keep your lashes clean and beautiful!  Her schedule does book up far in advance though so make sure you book ahead. Karen is absolutely wonderful, so glad to have found her. The salon is comfortable and serene - you have her undivided attention on the very comfortable table. Heated blanket is a must for those like me who are always cold.Her lash application is meticulous and oh so gentle. The results are flawless and look incredibly natural.
