The sandwiches are on point and oh so good. Would be better if they didn't take so long. The portion of fries is kinda skimpy for what you're paying for, but overall the food tastes fresh and the place is clean.  Highly recommended.

Wow this was absolutely amazing, delicious, and affordable. Definitely one of the best sandwiches ive ever had. They have a large menu and I would definitely recommend coming here. I've got to say, I was really impressed coming here! The food court in The Florida Mall isn't very good, unfortunately, because most of the food service places there have bad customer service. Meson, however, has been quite the opposite! Every time I visit, the cashiers seem genuinely friendly, and are helpful, too. All the sandwiches I've gotten there tasted good to me. This is my favorite food court option to eat at when visiting Florida Mall! The tuna salad sandwich, chicken sandwich, the turkey sandwich, the soups, the pastries, everything! Absolutely fresh and delicious! The criollo bread is freshhhhh & amazing! They press your sandwich So that the bread it is warm and slightly toasted. You don't even need to go to Puerto Rico, when you have el meson sandwiches nearby. The coffee is wonderful and tastes like you're in Puerto Rico, add on a pastry, and yummmmm!! All of the muffins and pastries are made fresh. The staff is not always the friendliest, but they are definitely organized. They have wonderful fresh cut natural fries, and make sure to spend the extra money for a side of mayo ketchup. It is delicious with the fries! They are very organized when you order their sandwiches although the line is very long. There are a couple of locations around, and I would definitely choose this over subway anytime. The sandwiches are simple but more satisfying, they cut diagonally and of course that makes it taste better too, not really, but maybe! They also have baked potatoes  with cheese. My moms favorite place in Puerto Rico comes to Orlando! And I must say I'm not disappointed in the least bit! Everything trastes amazing and you guys even have VEGAN and vegetarian options! Coffee is excellent, staff is always friendly and food is served fast! Thank you for always being kind and for setting up a location here in Orlando. Small chain restaurant that came from Puerto Rico. I love coming here for breakfast. They open at 7 am and serve breakfast till 11:30. I haven't had much of their lunch sandwiches. I tried the Boricua Streak sandwich and it was okay. I personally thought it tasted a bit bland for me. However their breakfast is where it's at. The Sorullos are really good. Good for a quick snack but can fill you up if you're just on the go. They are the corn sticks and it brings a mayo-ketchup dipping sauce for it. But man, let me tell you. I am obsessed with their Avena! Say what! Have them sprinkle some cinnamon on top! Uff! Seriously the best I've ever had. I literally got all my coworkers hooked on it. Yo soy hungry. Necesito food.I was in the mall and I was hungry. I didn't want to wait in line. Everyplace had a line. So had a few friends go one way I went the other and looked for something that wasn't "regular" mall food. I snap up the mall and this place and a friend from St. Croix tells, "aww man get a Coquito Latte for me" :-D I was ready! I enter that LONG AF line just to learn most people were waiting on food!? Those confused faces that I thought were undecided on what they want - were actually frustrated about the wait. A few friends get out of line and go to some other places. I still wait my turn. Get to the front to order and assistant holds back and laugh when she hears me say ask about coquito. They don't offer that! :-( Vegetarian sandwiches normally look pretty dry and super basic at the mall. That's what I would have said UNTIL I had soy salami for the first time. It tasted so good it made me wantto have meat.So if I've been pranked into eating real meat - never tell me!  Tastiest veggie sandwich I've ever gotten. And to complete my meal - quesito. I only got one :-( I LOVE QUESITOS!So while I'm at the table snapping and eatting my friends were still in line. They see my food :-) They eat their common mall food and are still hungry. El Meson is a popular Puerto Rican fast food franchise that has now expanded to Florida. My favorites are the Medianoche and the Monte Cristo.  They serve a pretty good-size sandwich, and for $2.99 you can add a drink and fries. They have breakfast all day. Usually, every time you try a restaurant that is not originally from US it tastes largely different. This is not the case with El Mesón Sandwiches. It tastes EXACTLY as every El Mesón in Puerto Rico.Excellent sandwiches (I would recommend the Media Noche), the fries are excellent, and even the 'quesito' is great. I went to Meson Sandwiches today during my lunch break. I was really impressed with how quick and efficient they worked without sacrificing flavor or presentation of the food. Staff was friendly and the food was delicious! I had the Boricua sandwich and the Sorullos(corn sticks); now this combo has been my favorite for as long as i can remember so my standard were high. Damn these sandwiches are good. Shortly after they opened I wanted to check them out but saw this crazzy long line and thought nah, theres no way its that good. It is. I love this place. It is my go to when I come to the mall. Every sandwich I have had from them has been good and their soup is good as well. I would recommend trying the serullos too. Amazing place, great flavor. Ok I'm nostalgic and bais. Eating a Pastrami and Puerto Rican style stake sandwish from El Meson back in the day at 1:30 in the morning in Ponce PR after a night of drinking and dancing was the highlight of the night. So to have it here in Orlando is just a delightful pleasure. Objectively, still great sandwish the caldo gallego is restuarant quality and sorullitos instead of boring fries is just awesome. El Mesón is one of my favorites fast food restaurants. They are originally from Puerto Rico and have been so successful that they have expanded to the USA. They offer a wide variety of Puerto Rican favorites )specialties are sandwiches) and they have a big vegetarian menu, which is hard to find in fast food restaurants. They have been recognized around the world fro the quality of their service and I am just glad a little piece of Puerto Rico is in the states.
