It was certainly meant to be that I work with Melinda...I had been struggling to find a photographer that I clicked with, until Melinda overheard me talking about it in yoga class. Her passion about being a photographer exuded immediately. I booked on the spot and was so happy that the universe brought us together. My photo shoot was so fun and relaxing...I did not feel the stress and pressure that I normally feel taking pictures. She guided me every step of the way and showed me how to pose properly. Melinda was so patient with me and my 2 year old daughter. My daughter is very shy around people she doesn't know at first and won't smile for the camera. When we did the quick mini session for Easter we had to be very creative but Melinda was able to capture those quick smiling moments. So incredibly thankful Melinda was recommended to us! Melinda is the best photographer we have ever used!! We were traveling to California for vacation and thought taking our engagments on the beach would be the best. Melinda was more then happy to help us and was so flexible working around our vacation plans. She gave us 90+ edited photos in less then 24 hours after finishing our shoot, and we love every single one of them! First of all, Melinda took our photos Friday evening and we had them early Sunday morning. That’s sooo unheard of. And next level.
Second, we are a family of 5 and we have an abundant amount of poses to choose from. I didn’t count but there was to be at least 30. At least.
Third, our family looks so happy. She took a million photos just to get the right one. I’m so happy.
I am over the moon that Melinda took our pictures. I will book her every time she comes to California. Seriously. She’s so good.

After our originally scheduled photographer canceled our family photo shoot for the 2nd time the day of, I contacted Melinda to inquire about her services and was hoping she could squeeze in a session for us ASAP, since we had already been delayed by 2 months, and booking a session this time of year is nearly impossible with such short notice. She offered to take our photos that day, with only about 2 hours notice! After browsing her website and fb page, I knew they would turn out great. She is exceptionally talented! Very professional but very personable! She listened to all of our requests and used her artistic talent to capture some beautiful shots that we will cherish for a lifetime! My family could not be more thankful for Melinda and the memories she gave us! Looking back now, I'm glad things fell through with our other photographer and we chose Melinda! It was meant to be. Melinda is truly an amazing photographer! We had two sessions with her so far and each of them was a unique experience. Not only me and my wife had a lot of fun, but our 3 year old son had fun too!
She is gifted with kids - our son just loved her from the very first minute.
Melinda is very professional. Thanks to her clear directions at each stage we could enjoy the entire process. She has chosen a perfect location at perfect time, so that the results are amazing - the photos are incredible and we get them within a few hours after the session! Melinda is all around amazing! She just shot my best friend’s wedding and was beyond awesome. We met with her at the venue and her excitement and energy made us all excited.
My BFF and her fiancé were very pleased with her engagement session and we ALL were incredibly impressed with her for the wedding. She is so super sweet- makes you feel comfortable and just beams with passion for photography!
