Very nice hotel with many room options. It is broken into 6 or 7 separate buildings. An extensive breakfast is included. Bacon, waffles, biscuits and donuts are some of the available items.My room had a separate kitchen with 3/4 size refrigerator, microwave, plates, glasses, silverware were in cupboards. There was also a patio off to the side. The sitting area had an electric fireplace. It had a large king size bed with many pillows . In the spacious closet was an in room safe. The waitress was great , very attentive. Food tasted great but temperature was Luke warm. After sending it back they brought me a new order and was the same, not hot. Go here in Normal if you want to feel "fancy." Great food and atmosphere all around, and it's location in Uptown Normal means plenty of places to shop either before or after.

We stumbled upon Medici on a quick overnite stay in Normal. The food was outstanding, make sure to try the apple and brie flatbread. They have an extensive beer selection for those so inclinded, I believe they told us 30 brews on tap. But the thing that truly made our evening was our server Maggie who was exceptional. We have been here several times in the last couple of years. The food has always been very very good including the Sunday Brunch, which was a pleasant surprise. The gluten free options are minimal and no gluten free bread. The service is always prompt and friendly. For me, the best thing about this restaurant is the atmosphere.
