Matt with MBB Productions is the all star host! He made our wedding so personal and targeted to everything that we wished for. He gave us the opportunity to select our own songs and filled in the blanks when we were unsure with song selections that fit our personalities. We recently had the fortune of being at a venue Matt regularly DJ'S at. He was so spunky and funny that we decided we wanted to hire him for my 40th birthday. Come the day of the event, and Matt arrived well before time and set up everything according to our wishes. We did an 80's themed party and we talked about song choices. Matt even dressed up in an 80's neon green shirt and wore a red Devo hat. He kept the party going so well, that our guests were willing to chip in at the end of the night to have Matt for another hour or two. We had so much fun singing our hearts out to our fave 80's tunes! He even suggested songs for me (as the birthday girl) and my husband to sing.I would highly recommend Matt to anyone looking for music for their event needs. I called around looking for a DJ and another DJ actually recommended Matt. I called Matt and got a really good vibe from him. He listened to me and knew exactly what my fiancé and I were looking for in a DJ. He has DJ'd at Jewish weddings before and was familiar with the traditions and music. We met with Matt twice before the wedding and he was a wealth of knowledge about the music industry. He had great suggestions for songs and listened to what we wanted. There was specific music I did not want - rap, Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus, etc - and he was very willing to "leave that music at home" on our wedding day.I called Matt closer to the wedding and asking about up lighting and he did provide these as well. He was excited to do it and have his creative side come out with the mix of colors.On the day of our wedding, Matt showed up early to set up the DJ booth and the lighting.  Everything looked great and throughout the reception, the music sounded great.Matt was energetic, engaging, timely, and very professional. Let me start off by saying that I do not dance, many of my friends do not dance. Having a DJ was not high on our needs list, but I am telling you Having Matt should be high on anyone's list. He made our wedding so much fun. The dance floor was never empty, even the event manager at our location stated that she had never seen the dance floor used so much and she pulled at least 4 weddings a week if not more. His skills far surpassed our expectations. He read and played for the crowd and made the most wonderful day of my life even more so not just for me but for my guests as well. MBB has been our go-to DJ and karaoke host for many years. We have engaged Matt for multiple types of events (western-themed hoedowns, ski club parties, company picnics and, yes, our wedding). We love his flexibility and professionalism. He is a terrific host/emcee who happily takes the lead on all the little things that contribute to the successful execution of the event. Matt is an excellent DJ and KJ. We have partnered with him for several events including our wedding, and he has always been professional and seamless in his ability to keep everyone of all ages engaged and entertained. When he hosted our wedding he was like a wedding coordinator, keeping every little detail on track (because of course WE weren't!) Honestly, we couldn't have asked for a better DJ and host.
