A few months ago, I was struggling to find motivation to go to the gym. Most days I wouldn’t go and when I did I felt out of place and unsure about what to do. I’d lost the drive and understanding that I had for many years and could only put together light unstructured workouts that would leave me unchallenged and disappointed. I knew that I didn’t like the way I was feeling or looking but I just couldn’t get things on track on my own. After I lost my job, I decided to reach out to Max to get back on track no longer having time constraints. Working with Max I refound what I lost. He challenges me in manageable ways and now I’m re-motivated to be active and live a healthy lifestyle. I see things differently now benefiting from the insights he’s shared and uniquely qualified to provide due to his experience and commitment to the study of health, nutrition and fitness. I now wake up early, feel great, maintain energy levels longer and look much better. Going into 40, I was very concerned about my physical state but Max got me right and those concerns are gone. I was talking to Max about a year ago, describing that I was in a bit of a rut and wanted to get into better shape. He indicated that he was affiliated with a program that he thought could help. That program was Pro Coach. He explained that I would be receiving daily lessons covering a variety of topics to improve overall wellness and that we would have weekly phone calls to review progress. I told him I would give it a try. Max’s response was that if I really wanted change, I needed to fully commit and complete all aspects of the program. I did and a year later I have lost over 15 pounds and I feel better than ever. In full disclosure, Max is my son, and I really appreciate how he pushed me during the entire experience. I've been training with Max for a little over 3 months now. Max is knowledgable, informative, and encouraging. He stays up to date on the newest health and fitness news and provides great guidance and recommendations about nutrition. Max strives to create community within the gym and always has an enthusiastic attitude!!! He also makes himself available to his clients, I have never felt alone in this journey. I have been with Max fit health for about 5 months let me just say I have NOT one regrets I've learned so much in such a short of a time frame nutrition and fitness max is amazing trainer motivator I was one of those clients that would never think in a million years that could be able to be active I made so many excuses not trying start working out max was very persistent on contacted me but I finally had the courage to go one day and I've never look back since he's the biggest support system I have and the best motivator I could ever ask for I've lost about 58 pounds I've reach PR's that I've never thought I could ever reach I've never been a person to ever want to work out with others and he helped me so much to break out of my shell and be active with others I couldn't really ask for anything better he's a wonderful leader.

Trust this guy. Max is the most engaged and personal trainer I have ever worked with. He was interested in my goals, my routines, my life and habits outside of the gym, all in the interest of tailoring a program that was specific to me. And it worked; we both noted improvements in core strength, limb strength, balance and endurance. We never defaulted to the same boring routine; each workout had a purpose. Because of this, I looked forward to our sessions; with other trainers I have sometimes shown up less enthusiastically. Max is great conversation, thoughtful and very sincere. Q&As

We know how overwhelming this whole process can be.

So, all new members go through a brief onboarding process before beginning your first program. During onboarding, we will go over your goals, collect body comp measurements, set up your coaching profile, and introduce you to how everything works. The purpose of onboarding is to make sure you have everything you need to have a successful experience here.

After you complete onboarding, we start working.

We focus our time, energy, and effort into the things that matter most--skills, habits, and practices that allow us to do the things we want to do and live the way we want to live.

We don't work out for the sake of working out, we train.
We don't follow strict meal plans and diets, we eat food
We don't waste time searching for quick fixes, hacks, and shortcuts; we focus on becoming better versions of ourselves every day.

We specialize in treating our fitness and nutrition like it is something we have to do for the rest of our lives.

No secret.
1. Get clear about what you want and why it is important to you.
2. Define exactly what you are willing to put in and how you intend to get there (this might require adjusting the goal).
3. Commit to the process you outlined.
4. Accept that this is a difficult process and allow yourself to have bad days. You can always pick it back up tomorrow.
5. Never stop. If you are concerned about the way your body looks, feels, and/or performs today, you will care for the rest of your life. There is no finish line.

There's not much I don't like about what I do, that's why I do it. If I had to pick one thing though, it would be that I have the freedom to spend all of my time learning how to help other people to things that are hard but necessary. Seriously, sometimes I can't believe that I get to do what I do. I love the people that I coach and I get to spend the rest of my time learning about things I am interested in.

One early morning, about 15 years ago, I saw something that changed the course of my life.

After snoozing my alarm several times, I lazily rolled out of bed and started getting ready for work. After brushing my teeth and taking a shower, I started getting dressed.

Working in construction as a supervisor and trainer (yes, trainer) I needed to wear jeans to work every day. And not long before that day, I had purchased new jeans a size bigger than my old ones. So I grabbed a pair and starting sliding one of my legs in.

If you have ever tried putting on jeans while still a bit wet from a shower, you know that you can feel some resistance as you pull your leg through. I should also point out that, at the time, I was living in South Florida, so I was no stranger to jeans being difficult to put on or take off, especially in the summer. Anyway, that’s what I thought was going on when started to struggle. But after a few seconds, it became clear that my initial assumption was incorrect.

I turned my head to the side and that’s when I saw it…

Looking back at me in the mirror, hunched over with two handfuls of denim, and a look of anger and fear in his eyes was a fat version of me. “That can’t be me”, I thought. I have always been lean. But the belly folding over my underwear, and the two legs that looked like impregnated tubes of cookie dough disagreed. I was getting fat.

It’s been so long now that it’s hard to remember my exact reaction, but I remember thinking right there, that I was going to make some changes. And I did. I joined a gym and shortly after started training in MMA (mostly BJJ).

For about 10 years, I stayed in pretty good shape, with a few ups and downs. I didn't really know what I was doing (although I thought I did), but it worked well enough to avoid going back to where I started.

Year after year, I become more interested in fitness and health. Then in 2013, I decided that I wanted to make my health a priority. I was also ready for a career change and had been thinking a lot about starting my own business. But not just build a business, I wanted to create a process, a system if you will, for people like me that wanted to get more out of life--more time, more enjoyment, more physical capability, and more independence.


In December of 2013, I started Max-imum Fitness and Health, and ever since, have been dedicating all of my free time to the research and development of my coaching practice.

Every minute of the day is a chance to invest in your future, and the person you are today is a reflection of all your past investments. Every minute that ticks by, you are consciously or unconsciously contributing to the person you will become next. Those minutes are not trivial, how you spend them matters...especially during the actions that repeat every day.

A client should only choose me if what I just wrote resonates with them because that is what I help people do.

Choose between 1x, 2x, and 3x a week with your coach in-person (the others can be done at home).
