I am so happy I hired MYM for my wedding day! Nick was absolutely amazing the day of the wedding, capturing everything and having so much positive and fun energy, he truly loves his job and is a professional. After the wedding I got my video and was blown away how he really did capture the whole day of events and emotions that went with it. I watch it and feel like it just happened!

He also went above and beyond for me, unfortunately my photographer lost many images and he took still frames from the video footage to try and recover those lost moments for me. Nick will go off your schedule and meet when and where it is convenient for you. The professionalism he has is absolutely incredible. Not only is he attentive to what you are looking for in a videographer but Nick also takes the time to get to know you as individuals as well as a couple. My husband and I were only able to meet with Nick once, a few months before our wedding, as we live out of state. The time he spent with us during that meeting was amazing. We discussed everything from our theme down to what type of equipment would be used. His attitude is always upbeat and captures everything. Our final video was beyond words. Nick was an absolutely amazing person to work with. From the first meeting to the final video he was professional, timely, and just made the experience wonderful. What a truly amazing choice it was to have Nick and Sara capture our day in video!

With a wedding video low(er) on our list of priorities we went back and forth on whether or not we should hire a videographer countless time. After a few meetings w/ Nick on our 'style' and wishes for the video, he was confident that he'd deliver exactly what we were looking for. It shouldn't be surprising to anyone, that is exactly what happened. Had we known how perfectly he'd capture the day and how spot on they edit the footage, a video would have been second on our list below the dress!

Finding Nick & Sara was a GODSEND! I was on a desperate search for an affordable wedding videographer that could create a short wedding video that didn't look like your uncle's camcorder from the early '90s. They were it! Sara got back to me almost immediately after I put out a search on Thumbtack. We met with Nick for our initial meeting and again several weeks before the wedding. He listened to our vision and what we were looking for, and made it that much better! On our wedding day, he was a joy to work with! He was fun to have around, and came running onto the dance floor to make sure we got some sunset photos with after the day-long rains had cleared. If you're considering booking MakeYourName/MakeYourMemory as your wedding videographer, just do it!! I could not be more enthusiastic about recommending them to all my friends, family, and other engaged couples. I looked into booking a wedding videographer about 6 weeks out from our wedding on a last minute fear that I would regret not having one, and it was honestly one of the best decisions I made while wedding planning. Nick and Sara luckily still had our date open, contacted me with a quote that I thought was amazingly cheap for everything they offered (no time limit, edited video, and ALL the footage!!). My only concern with a videographer was that I wanted it to be totally natural since my fiancé and I can feel awkward when we know we are being videotaped. Luckily, Nick said he was more than happy to stay in the background, and he got amazing footage without us even knowing he was there most of the day. He got along so well with our wedding party and our photographer; he was so professional yet fun and hilarious. At the end of the night when we went outside to take some smoke bomb pics, he took some great shots, and we assumed he would leave with the photographer. I went to thank him, and he said he was coming back in with us to get more dance footage! He went above and beyond. The edits of our video were back so fast, and we are IN LOVE with the final product. I laughed. I cried. Even my fiancé who was originally hesitant to pay for a videographer is SO happy we hired them! I think the thing that made me the most in love with them was after we got our first cut of the video back, I told them I wanted to surprise my new husband with a song from Cloud Cult, one of his favorite bands, in our video. They were so excited to be in on the surprise, and they helped me to get permission and then proceeded to (happily!) recut the video. Seriously, I am blown away by Nick and Sara. Having Make Your Name shoot our wedding day was one of the best wedding decisions we made! Nick and Sarah are true artists and the nicest, most thoughtful people to work with. I work in public relations and have seen a LOT of documentary-style videos in my line of work (the good, the bad and the ugly). I was totally blown away by the first cut of our wedding video. It was sweet and funny and poetic and perfectly "us." They made the minimal tweaks we requested in no time at all, and we have received hundreds of glowing comments from friends and family - both those who were there and those who couldn't be - who agreed that they perfectly captured the spirit and "soul" of our wedding day. Nick and Sara were delightful to work with! Everyone commented on how they managed to be everywhere without ever being in the way! They aren't in any of my photos, yet they have beautiful, up-close footage of the day. I almost didn't hire a videographer because I've seen so many terrible videos. I also had family members warn me that videos are disappointing because they can't capture the feel of the day, or the way we felt as it was happening. All of that advice was totally wrong, because our video perfectly captured our day. They had a wide variety of our guests included, and had everything! They were there for getting ready until the garter toss. In addition to the 5-7 minute video they were contracted to make (which still makes me cry, 3 months later!), we also get all of the raw footage. This way we can watch the full ceremony or speeches on our anniversary! I can't say enough wonderful things about Nick and Sara. They clearly love what they do and they couldn't do it better!

Booked with this couple not knowing ANYTHING AT ALL about videographers, or hiring one. I had merely seen a few videos on social media and knew I needed one for my wedding. Nick and Sara provided MANY projects to me to help me understand their work and filming styles.

Make your memory offers a few packages. None of which REALLY met my needs. In a few short emails I was able to agree with a price and a package that fit my husband and I's needs. Nick and Sara are very easy to negotiate with, and are VERY fair in price.

Still, I had no idea what to do with them once I hired them on. They guided me through the entire process. They wanted to meet up IN PERSON AT THE VENUE! WHO DOES THAT?! Nick and Sara do! They took notes! They asked us all sorts of questions. What did we like? What didn't we like? Who did we like? Who didn't we like! What traditions were important to us? What was the ceremony order? What did we want to get out of the video? Who would the video be for? Who did we want in the video? They had thought of it all! They asked it all. And though we didn't know the answer to most of those questions, it got us thinking about how we thought it would play out. They were calm. Collected. Organized. They valued what we valued. They made it easy.

Still, I was skeptical.

The day came. They showed up just as expected. My family hates being videotaped and they blended into the background so well. So well, I near had a panic attack after my wedding that they up and left half way through the day because nobody could remember seeing them at the reception. They have no set hours. They work until they are satisfied. And they are not easily satisfied.

Nick and Sara we such a wonderful couple to work with. They showed up the morning of the wedding and went to work. It was such a relief, as the bride, sensing immediately that they knew exactly what they were doing and that I wouldn't have to direct them or micromanage. They were complete professionals. They coordinated with the photographers and my mom to get all the detail shots before splitting up; Nick stayed upstairs and got video of all the menfolk getting ready and guests arriving while Sara joined my sister and me downstairs for our prep. Just having her there to chat with added to the experience. During the rest of the festivities they continued to capture all of the most important moments without being intrusive.

We only met with them two times before our wedding and they were able to produce a video that perfectly captured us and our day. We were allowed two edits before an additional charge was applied and we only used one and it was only for a couple very minor tweaks. They summed up the day beautifully.

My mom initially thought that a wedding videographer was a silly expense and that just a photographer would have been sufficient but after seeing the video she completely changed her mind. She was a little skeptical when she saw that it was just under ten minutes (the length we paid for) but she loved it and watched it on repeat for hours the first night I sent it to her. For me, having our vows, the speeches and our song professionally recorded was so important. Well worth the cost.

Nick and Sara also charged a very reasonable amount. And, unlike any other place I looked they gave us all of the footage on a hard drive with no additional cost to us, except the cost of the hard drive. Also, they don't limit you to a specific amount of hours. The day of your wedding they will start as early as you want and stay as late as you want with no price increase.

Basically, they are an amazing couple who do amazing work. 100% recommendation. More...

Honestly, I had the best experience possible with MYN - I have no complaints! They were careful, professional, sweet, affordable and attentive! I absolutely LOVED our final video and I am so thankful they were able to capture our day. Because of MYN and their willingness to work with my budget, I now have something unbelievably gorgeous to share with our relatives who are positioned all over the globe and, therefore, unable to make it to our big day!
