I think Macrina Bakery & Cafe is great. I am the type of person who realizes when a place is brand new...it's going to be busy and chaotic. I go in knowing that the floors might be a bit messy, the lines might be long, some pastries might be sold out. Give them a break. They're working out the kinks. Come back in a month and your experience will be much better. I had a roly poly which is a delicious cinnamon roll with raisins, nuts and cream cheese frosting. The roll was a croissant-like texture so it was buttery and flakey and delicious. I love how they have sparkling water on tap. Decor is great with lots of natural light and beautiful light fixtures. The ordering process is a bit strange as no one seems to know where to stand or where the line starts. FYI this place does not have outlets to plug in a laptop or phone so charge your device before you come. I guess they don't want people lingering for too long which is thoughtful for other patrons. Busy but very kind and have an array of sweets and treat and drink anyone would enjoy! Wonderful vibe indoor, a little tight in the entrance area if there are many people waiting but there is some additional seating outside one can enjoy on a warm day.

I’ve never had a bad food choice from here. Sometimes it’s crazy crowded so can take longer for service or seating may be full, but the espressos and food items have always pleased us. Great breakfasts!!!
