Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting

I have had several repairs done here from accidents. Jim and his crew always do great work. I was involved in an accident on December 3rd 2019. I originally took my vehicle to a preferred shop of my insurance company. I was originally told it would be at least 30 days to complete the repairs. My car sat for a week week in there lot with nothing being done. I contacted Jim and Linda from Maaco in Hanover. They told me to bring the vehicle right up. Once again, David and his professional, trustworthy crew performed an excellent quality repair. This included: painting, repairing and refinishing some damaged panels and fenders on my Camaro that resulted from a hit and run (some people! ) I was able to drop off and pick up my car with ease on Tuesday 12/11 and was satisfied with the work done as I picked it this morning 12/18 (total time spent in shop 1 week). There was a slight issue upon picking up where one of the ladies at the front counter tried charging me way more than what I was expected to pay because she was unaware of the situation (going through insurance and already having paid half of my $1,000 deductible previously). My 1998 Ford Ranger was involved in an accident. To be honest the original paint was in terrible shape and the old truck looked  bad. I took it to MAACO on Canton Road to get the front body work done. I asked them how much I would have to pay out of pocket to get the while truck painted since they were going to have to paint the front anyway. They quoted me a very fair price and did a great job. My car had a lot of damage on it, the passengers side had a dent in the metal that broke the bracket for my front bumper and it was hanging off just the slightest bit, the rear bumper also had a dent in it, and there were small dents all over the car that I hadn't even seen. They even found one where it looked like someone had hit my car with a piece of metal. I had them fix the front and replace both bumpers, and the cases for both rear light fixtures. It went in the shop looking like a complete beater and now you would almost think it just came off the production line. The guys who estimated my car were very friendly and upfront about the things they saw and could do, they even did their best to make everything as affordable as possible since they knew I was going to be paying for everything out of pocket. When my car was ready it was raining and I was close by but couldn't get a ride and they were nice enough to come pick me up so I didn't have to pay for an Uber or walk in the rain.If something else ever happens to my car I'll definitely be coming back as they were the most accommodating and friendly people and they did a great job on my car. First off I want to give the biggest thank you to Sally and Mike for the correction of my first Maaco paint job done at a different location. They saw the errors and work with me from start to finish to ensure I had a finished product I would enjoy. Maaco at Glendale really turned the experience around for me because of their kind and helpful attitude, along with the Awesome paint techs they have there. I would recommend anyone that wants their car painted, even for cheap; to come to this location. There is a difference in locations!*For back story*I originally went to MAACO in Pomona CA for my 2007 Infiniti to get the whole car painted blue. Well when I told them that, I didn't actually mean the entire car (including grille, mirrors, vents, there was so much overspray on the lights you would think it was a film I put over it) it also wasn't the correct blue as I was told they couldn't use the blue I chose out of their books and they found a match. But it was no match at all. unhappy with the finish product I had asked Maaco in Pomona to correct issues. They tried but after 2-3 weeks extra work the car still was in no good shape. They were making it go from bad to worse. It was very watery looking and had a lot of paint run and buff marks. I took the car to another Maaco in Anaheim CA . The shop manager gives me a very disgusted face and even makes remarks saying "wow they did this." And "omg paint here too!" but ended up telling me to go back to Pomona they will fix it since it's under warranty. (Which they didn't). Decided to then take it to maaco in Glendale who immediately knew there was a problem with the first paint job and took action to claim this destruction and fix it to MAACO standards. I was instructed to come back to get it evaluated and redone correctly! Well it took less then a week and the car came back with the color I asked for and with all the issues taken cared of. Needless to say I was skeptical about going to any MAACO but after the one in Glendale CA took so much care for me. I am definitely coming back with my other vehicles if needed and will tell everyone this is the MAACO To go to. More...

The guys at Maaco did an incredible job on my Audi Q5. First off, their quote was about 50% less than every major body shop in the Bellevue area. Secondly, they were able to turn around the job with 2 days, a day earlier than they committed, and I was able to go on my vacation knowing that my car was back home. Thirdly, they did a phenomenal job on the front bumper - it looked absolutely brand new. Finally, their service and attitude was exceptional throughout the process. Ok, where do I start. First of all, I have an Audi Q5 2012 and I hit the left passanger door while driving out from the garage. I stupidly forgot that the door was open and started driving. I was terrified since this had never happened before and I never had to deal with insurance and all that. I was able to close the door with a force. There was a huge (about an inch) gap on the top between the body and the door.I got couple of quotes from collision centers and they said that it has to be a door replacement and would cost around $3-3.5k. Obviously it sounded crazy and I was lucky enough to find Maaco. I dropped my car on Monday, met Justin and had a quote for door alignment and it was less than $500. I couldn't believe that it's possible to make this type of job for that amount of money. I got a call today (Wednesday 1pm) and Justin told me that the car is ready to go and they just need to wash it up. I was at the office at 3pm and got my car back.The job was done professionally, the door is closing now with no gaps whatsoever, whole isolation looks great and it's hard to notice any marks at the first sight. Again, there are so many great words here anout Justin and his team and it's all true. Thank you so much folks one more time and best of luck to you and your business. Changing my review to 4 of 5. For full car painting services, just know that you'd get what you pay for. Unfortunately, some of my hood paint started chipping after a year. I felt bad going back to get it redone since they gave me such a great deal. For awareness, if you want a legitimate full body paint job that will last, Maaco may not be the best option. For specific jobs, like painting a single door ( which they have for me before) they do a great job that lasts a long time. I just feel that a big project like painting a whole car tends to loose attention to detail momentum very soon, and the quality of labor results in visible long term (in my case 1 year) deficiencies. 5 of 5 service.5 of 5 for small projects.2 of 5 for large projects. I went to two other body shops to fix my front bumper on my BMW. For such a small amount of damage I was shocked at the prices I received - one in excess of $1,000 and another Maaco quoting me $800. Maaco in burien did the job for less than half the price of the other Maaco! They also wowed me with their customer service; super responsive, quick, and even touched up additional areas on my car for free. I will definitely be back if I need to. Summary: High integrity, good prices. I highly recommend these people, after doing several jobs with them, and after two bad experiences with other companies. I now won't go anywhere else.I used to think Maaco was the low-end body shop, and maybe elsewhere that's true, but these guys are legit. High integrity, high quality. I had a scratch and small dents on the the passenger side of my relatively new Toyota Corolla. I received an estimate from one other auto body shop which was way overpriced. I found Macco and got an estimate that was very reasonable...a 2,142 dollar difference. My car was repaired in 3 days as promised.  The repair  was excellent!!  I can't even tell that the the damage was even there.  They also detailed and washed my car!!I will refer my family and friends to Macco for any auto body repair!!The Macco employees were very professional and honest. I gave this company five stars because there worth it customer service is a plus Kathy is a sweet heart and very patient, and educated on everything dealing with paint and cars. I took in my 2010 Toyota Corolla LE to have my entire vehicle painted for only $1095 that's an out the door cost. I had checked many body/paint shops in the Stockton area I felt all there quotes were over priced. I dropped my vehicle off on a mon which was an holiday and my car was finished Thursday super fast service. I will be returning to maaco for any of my vehicles in the future to get painted. Maaco painted my 2010 Lexus HS 250h after I had gotten some damage repaired. My car was originally gray and had a lot of scratches and chips on the paint. There were a lot of chips on the back bumper. Maaco did an AMAZING job painting my Lexus a black color that sparkles in the sun! They named it "Kayla's Pearl" since it was a special color they created just for me! They are very accommodating. Since the back bumper of my car had a lot of chips, they recommended that I have them fix the chips so that the paint will last longer. So I added that on, and I was very pleased with the result. Maaco also recommended that I pay a little extra for them to take off all of the door handles of the car so that every inch of the car is painted for a long lasting result. I'm also pleased with how that looks. I was told that Maaco doesn't paint door jams or underneath the trunk and that was not accurate. Maaco painted the door jams and under my trunk and I love the result! I paid about $1,475 for everything and I think that's a killer deal for the outcome! SO worth it! WOW! How often do you say that about a business? Well, I recently did business with this paint shop after being disappointed in the past, and boy am I glad I came back. I had done business with the Glendale location of MAACO some years back. Was not impressed. In fact, it was this very ambulance that I had painted, and while I didn't spend a lot of money to paint it, sadly it showed.About a month ago, the ambulance was damaged on a movie set when one of the drivers ran into it with a studio truck. The right front fender was smashed. I was pressed for time to get it back on the road, so I took it back to MAACO Glendale to have the fender replaced with a cheap aftermarket fender and spot painted That's when I met the new manager, Mike. He sat down with me and said he could repair the fender instead of replacing it, but since the ambulance had been painted some years ago, the color would probably not match. He suggested that I have the fender repaired instead of replacing it because the ambulance would remain original, and he suggested that we repaint the entire vehicle. The price he quoted seemed reasonable for what he was proposing, so given my budget, I said yes.I got the ambulance back last night, and it looked absolutely spectacular! I couldn't believe it! The fender was so straight that you could not see that it had been damaged. The paint quality was incredible, and the finish as smooth as silk. Mike told me to pass on the enamel paint and spend a little more for the urethane. What a difference. Obviously a lot of time and effort went into the body prep before it went into the paint booth. Not a dimple, run or wave anywhere. It was better than the last time I had it painted at the Glendale MAACO office, and I was amazed at just how much pride went into that paint job.I like honest people. I spent a little more and got a whole lot more. Sometimes all it takes is a manager that has pride in his work and treats people with respect. I use body and paint shops a lot in my business. I have had a wonderful experience at the Aurora Maaco on 3 different occasions! As a woman whose car was viciously vandalized  2 yrs ago, they gave me fair and honest prices, friendly service, compassion and very fast service. My car was ready in the time I was  quoted. I was In-and-Out quickly for a full body  paint job, I was so pleased, they did an EXCELLENT job restoring me back to the original condition!  They had to do a lot of sanding and you can't tell it was ever damaged!The 2nd time no charge, just awesome advice including invaluable safety tips! The third time was  this week when a vandal sprayed paint on the car and their courtesy and kindness to me and expert removal of the vandalism had me "back in business" within an hour of the occurrence! ...I was literally  back to "Like New" before I could blink my eyes! Very Happy! Took my 2019 Toyota Tacoma in for 2 dings and a quarter sized scuff on the rear passenger door. Maaco's quote was 1/2 the price of the nearest competitor and they completed it sooner than we asked. Mario was great to work with and the other staff always ensured we were being waited on. Final results of the repair are excellent! Can't even tell anything happened to this door, which as the outcome I was praying for. Very highly recommend this repair shop. Excellent work, quality service and won't be break the bank. I was doing some comparative shopping to fix my car (brushed my car against a concrete pillar and the concrete won) and Maaco by far was the most reasonable estimate. Other places wanted more than double the price even when I explained I'd be paying out of pocket. While other companies wanted to replace several pieces, Maaco was willing to repair what was already there.
