This was my first time here and I have never tasted a salad and ribs that were so good. It was a blt salad with bleu cheese crumbles and the ribs had their own homemade barbeque sauce. The food was also reasonably priced. The specialty drinks were a little pricey at 10.00 plus but the pints were average priced at 6.00 and up. More...

This is one of my go to spots. I've had a draft review sitting in my file for a while. Lyndale taphouse is a solid option. The service is always stellar and the food is pretty good. They have a great selection of beers although most times there one or two beers that I really want are the ones that are no longer on tap! My bad for taking too long to get there after the menu changes. The last time I was there I had a pulled pork sandwich on lettuce with fries. It was super tasty although a little spicier than I remembered.I can't do dairy anymore and that's a real bummer because their ranch dressing is superb! Awesome happy hour menu and prices. Something for everyone. Our waiter ended up being one of the owners, Rupi, great guy, felt like fast friends. Suggested a great edition to the happy hour naan grilled cheese. Try it with ham and jam( homemade fig) or with jam and brisket, like I did. So tasty. My friends had 1/2 burgers and were thrilled with getting a burger truly served medium, and 5 bucks at happy hour. Also met the chef(owner) Doug. Such a fantastic dude. My daughter and I went to Hickory and Hops last night, the first time either of us had eaten there. I just wanted to try the tacos that everyone posts about. ..she's vegan and was joining me as a favor with no intention of eating. But she went to your website and saw all of the vegan options that you offer. The fish, brisket and tofu tacos were delicious, but those sweet potato wedges tho...wow! This is a cool place. I was visiting with a friend last night and it was packed with trivia going on. We loved the food here, the pulled pork sandwich was fantastic with a smoky cherry wood flavor and was moist without dripping. Great beer selections and to die for bread pudding....they were so busy that we got bread pudding on house when the waiter realized she took a slightly longer time to come to our table. We had brunch here and the brunch offerings are both solidly done, well priced, and of a good size. Brunch entrees are all like $13. The bottomless mimosas were sadly a little weak, but tolerable and if you have the time you can get a little buzz and won't get scurvy!
