We are a family-owned and operated business. We take pride in providing peace of mind to pet parents as they travel. We have a small team of staff who are trained in dog behavior and are CPR and First Aid certified. We send updates at each visit that include the start and stop time of the visit, a report of what we did, how the pet is doing, pictures, and GPS tracking so you can see we were there!

We love Lone Star Pet Sitting. We had never left our puppies in the care of anyone before, and were a little nervous about how our puppies would do being away from home for 2 weeks. I was really anxious to hire a pet sitting service for my cats because I’ve always had family watch them when we went out of town. We met Tiffany the owner and she came out and met my cats and watched my routine and made us feel very comfortable with hiring them so we did. The first visit they made was a little rough, but it was my fault for making the feeding so complicated. But once I had simplified it and communicated my concerns everything went so smooth. I was told how they were each visit and sent pictures and the communication was on point. My camera would pick up motion clips and my cats who normally wouldn’t even come out all loved the sweet girl. They were super comfortable with her and she did so amazing with them! We found them quite by accident, quite a while ago, do us they are more than a pet sitter, the whole group is like part of our family. They come to the house to pick up our pups, ALWAYS within 5 minutes or less of their ETA. The pups are always happy to see them, they play all day, come home worn out, eat their supper and relax until we go to bed. When we go on trips we have no fear that they are being properly taken care of by people who really care about them. Lone Star Pet Sitting & my sitter, Stacie were amazing! This was the first time I’ve left my dog alone overnight & hired an in-home sitter. My boy was extremely difficult at first & did nothing but hide & bark for 20+ minutes (which I saw from my Furbo camera recordings). Stacie was so patient & sweet with him, investing the time he needed to feel safe & warm up. By the end of the 1 hour visit, they were friends plus he ate dinner & pooped just like I needed. I LOVE taking my dog to Tifany's! Not only do I get picture updates throughout our vacations, but Bear gets to socialize with other dogs for a good portion of the day. I always felt so guilty with traditional boarding places knowing that he would be crated for the most part - not the case here! Even if you'd rather not have your dog socialize (or maybe they don't do well with other dogs), she's done a great job of having sections where they can have their space while still getting plenty of exercise and time outside the crate. 100% would recommend. What do you love most about your job?
The thing we love most about our job is hearing pet parents tell us, "I never have to worry when I am away and you are taking care of our pets!" Finding reliable and trustworthy pet care can be hard and stressful. It brings us so much joy to be able to provide peace and calm so that our clients can enjoy their trips or go to work and not feel bad for leaving their pets.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My love of animals inspired me to start this business and all of our wonderful clients have made me love it even more!
Why should our clients choose you?
We pride ourselves on honesty, integrity, doing the right thing, and what's best for the pets. But our number one priority is peace of mind. We provide that through excellent pet care but also through thorough communication and updates to pet parents while they are away at work or traveling.
Drop In Visit
An in-home visit to care for the pet. This is customized by the pet owner but can include feeding, watering, litter box scooping, medication administration, dog walks, fetch, cuddle time, etc.
We offer 30 minute, 45 minute, and 60 minute visits.
Dog Walking
One of our sitters comes to your home to walk and exercise your dog in your neighborhood.
Typically, this is a 30-minute visit but we do offer 45 minutes and an hour
House Sitting
One of our sitters stays the night at your house from at least 10pm-6am and comes back for a mid day visit.
Additional visits during the day can be provided upon request.
Dog Boarding
We have a boarding facility on our home property so we have someone sleeping on the property! We are a board and play facility, meaning the dogs get to play and socialize with the other dogs for about 6 hours per day, in our large play yard, so they can get proper exercise and fresh air. They are nice and tired each night and when they go home!
We do ask for vaccination records and that dogs get along well with other dogs.
Doggie Daycare
This service is great for busy pet owners who work long hours or when moving day is here! This includes the dogs coming for the day (not staying the night) to play, socialize and exercise with their other dog friends then going home nice and tired for their parents
Pet Taxi
We transport your pet to vet, grooming, or other appointments
