Everyone knows that moving is no fun, and we all go into it with pretty much the same level of dread. My roommate and I were moving from two separate apartments into the one in another borough, so we knew it was going to be a big job, and I had a bad experience years before so I was nervous. However, once I started to talk to Amar from Perfect Moving, things just kept getting easier. They were really wonderful from start to finish, transparent with pricing and expectations, and the crew that showed up on moving day was hard-working and never complained once. We had some stairs to deal with at the drop off location and it was a really big move, and they just kept going until it was finished. We moved on one of the hottest days in July and provided water for them all day, and again - no complaints. Really wonderful guys! They were careful with our items and nothing was damaged or broken. My advice is to prepare a full inventory list *down to the item* before you call, so that the quote process goes smoothly. Be transparent with them about any changes in quantities of boxes or items as you pack. Also, make sure you are fully packed before you move! Sounds obvious, but a lot of times people are still filling boxes when the movers arrive and I think that's probably the most frustrating thing as a mover to deal with. My move went extremely well. The guys arrived at 7:00 am and began to do their thing. I knew my move would be tough given the amount of heavy boxes - and their guys were up for the task. Nick was great at managing the move, ensuring everything went smoothly and he is a master at stacking and making things fit. I had a "hiccup" with my storage unit and feared everything would not fit into the 10x10, but Nick was so good at arranging all of the boxes, and was able to get all of my items to fit. I called him "the miracle worker." Fernando and Silvano worked so hard alongside Nick, carrying those boxes, transporting them down the flight of stairs; they were very polite and professional. We just moved from Queens to NJ and chose perfect movers based on their good reviews and they definitely lived up to them! Setting up the move was easy from the get go with Arrita. She was able to get us scheduled for the day we needed with little notice. Everything was emailed and outlined correctly down to the items for pick up, items being taken to the curb and items being picked up at a stop in between. Another thing that was important was that when I booked was that they included everything in the price that would be necessary besides blankets...tv/picture boxes and even a few wardrobe boxes...that other companies didn't include.  They also emailed emailed to confirm everything two days before, and even with an increase in the amount of boxes they didn't up the price (which was very good from the get go)! On the day of the team of 3 guys (can't remember names) arrived right within their pick up window. They were efficient from the get go and I couldn't believe how fast these scrawny guys picked even the heaviest of items up on their own! Our two bedroom apartment was packed up within 3 hours. In NJ they were quick again when it came to unloading. They put everything in the exact location it needed to go to and started to set things up without me even having to ask (the last company I moved with I had to beg). I felt embarrassed to ask them to move one I had accidentally sent downstairs that needed to go up, but they didn't mind at all. At the end when I was pooped they were still going strong. My husband and I knew we were going to give a good tip when we saw how wonderful they were, but asked them what they would like. They could have easily said an exact amount or percentage, but they were modest and said whatever you'd like. Wow - can't say enough good things about Perfect Moving. Everything from the booking to the moving and delivery was more than I could have asked for. Mimi and his team were so efficient and quick! They were also so nice and a joy to spend, what would have been otherwise, a very stressful afternoon. I used Perfect Moving last week to deliver a couple of furniture pieces for my company. I cannot express how fantastic a company Perfect Moving is! Firstly, they came to the rescue at the very last minute when other movers I had scheduled cancelled-Amar was so helpful when I called that I actually thought it was too good to be true. I've moved across the country, across cities, across states multiple times and I have to say Perfect Moving is truly worth every penny. I was doing a small move a long distance and every place I reached out to either wouldn't take a move of this size or had a minimum of a few thousand dollars. Tasko got back to me with an absolutely great and competitive rate. Almas and his crew were prompt and always looped me in about when they should be arriving at the pick up and drop off locations. Disasterous experience.  At least 15 totally unlabelled boxes.  I've attached photos of some.  I have many more.  Other boxes labelled inaccurately reflecting contents.  Mover told me 10 times that we would incur additional charges for extra stuff because "I don't want any drama" when we get the bill.  Movers arrived more than an hour later than the estimated time window.  Movers did not move substantial items (small refrigerator, entire contents of front closet) that were repeatedly discussed. I strongly recommend Perfect moving. I have recently moved from NJ to Florida. After getting harassed by multiple spurious moving company I reached out to this company based on the reviews. I did the right thing. They were kind enough to pick up my stuff for less than 24 hours notice. 3 people came and took my stuff with care. They were very professional and respectful. They delivered my stuff within 10Business days as promised. They delivered and handled my stuff with care. Nothing was broken. There is no surprise charge. While loading they mark all your stuff with your name and number and make an inventory. You match with it while your stuff gets delivered. Here's my long story about how Perfect Moving came to the rescue.My mother "thought" she booked another moving company for yesterday morning. Not being internet savvy, she made a mistake and the truck didn't show up. We had all taken the day off work to help my mom move so we were pretty desperate to find a moving company for the same day. By now it was almost 1pm.  And it's the 28th of the month. We called so many places but, understandably, they gently laughed. Peter answered the phone at Perfect Moving, and with his calm voice I knew he'd be our knight in shining armor. He worked his magic, and somehow, at 5pm, Bob the Mover and his partner showed up ready to work. Bob is a beast who takes his job very seriously, but we made him crack a smile every now and then ;)  The partner, whose name I didn't catch because he was mostly loading and unloading the truck, was a sweetheart. I am in awe of how quickly and skillfully they moved my mom's stuff. Not counting the drive to the new place, I think the move took about 3 hours (1BR first floor to a 1 BR, 3rd floor, with elevator). I will also mention that there was a heat advisory, and sweat dripped off of me while I sat there doing nothing, so I don't understand how Bob did all that back and forth without fainting. As I mentioned, he's a beast, in the nicest way possible. Thank you so much to everyone at Perfect Moving. I have used other great moving companies before, but for my next move I would go back to Perfect Moving because of how quickly they respond on the phone, and how they were able to make this miracle work last minute. I was worried about my move, which was combining two apartments into a new place and involved a lot of furniture, fragile items, and a super thin flat screen TV. Perfect Moving lives up to their name! Tasko emailed me regularly and spoke to me on the phone about all my concerns. I'm not going to lie... I was really concerned about this move because I had a huge, expensive glass table as well as a Peloton bike I recently purchased. I just knew for sure that moving was going to be a huge challenge. Not one bit at all! Tasko was great and provided me with an excellent flat rate -- most companies charge by the hour -- so, this is what attracted me to Perfect Moving. The team arrived as scheduled and began working immediately. They were super quick, very attentive and careful with all of my belongings. A perfect move indeed! They do deserve "the perfect moving" name.   They did so well in the first move, i hired them for the second move the following week.  Their central booking service was responsive and fast.   I love the flat rate quote, the last moving company nickel and dimes me for an item being off.   I received many quotes and they were competitive.   The movers are awesome.  Always response with "NO problem". Just did a move using Perfect Moving this weekend, and I can't recommend them enough. I have moved a couple times in NYC, and my last experience with a different moving company was not a good experience.  Because of that, I looked around at many companies, read so many reviews, got quotes from a few. Perfect had great reviews and gave me a lower quote than the other company I was considering, so I decided to go with Perfect.  The overall experience with Perfect was great start to finish. They were very communicative and responsive, they let me move up my moving day - they were flexible and helpful before the move.  On the actual day - it couldn't have gone better.  Amazingly my moving team was only 2 people (!!!) which blew my mind - I don't know how 2 people did it. I've used this service twice: once on a short-notice move (less than 5 days) and another recently with several weeks notice. Seamless quotes, scheduling and the movers were some of the most professional I've ever encountered (on East and West coasts). Easy COI custom built to your ask--if you need one--provided, and incredibly reasonably priced (I had these guys running up a 4 story walk up). It is very risky when a company puts a word like "perfect" into its name because an adjective like that more often than not falls short of what the name would imply. But, it absolutely is the right word choice in the case of Perfect Moving because our move from Queens to Manhattan was absolutely perfect and flawless on every possible level.I have very high expectations of people and places. And I did not expect our move to go as smoothly or incredibly well as it did. Honestly, I was a little apprehensive and nervous going into the morning of our move, despite taking weeks to choose a moving company, and really researching them. I even started  analyzing all the top reviews on the Yelp pages of all the movers I was considering. What ultimately pushed me to choose Perfect Moving was the number of "elite" member Yelp reviews, as well as the number of reviews of Yelpers with substantial reviews and photos on their page.A few standout points:1) Their rates and quote was more than reasonable and fair, especially compared to others. Very competitive. 2) Their rates are for the full job, not by the hour.3) They were very (VERY) easy to communicate with, fast to respond to questions and continually in touch going into the move. In fact a day or two before, they reached out to not only confirm but to go over what to expect, to review all the items I said I was moving in case there were changes (and thus save us from any unexpected or costly day of added costs) and to see if I had any questions.4) There was a genuine and honest desire to provide the best, stress-free (or as stress free as any move can be) and easy move as possible.5) They followed all the COVID protocols to ensure a safe move. On the day of the move, the team leader of the Perfect Moving crew on our move was Rush. He called ahead to let us know they were on their way. They arrived on time (actually a few minutes early).What was awesome was that from the minute we met Rush, he was so calming and polite and really put us at ease within minutes of arriving. I knew right then and there that our move was in good (and safe) and capable hands.Rush and his crew were very careful with all of our boxes and items. And regularly he checked in with us to make sure we were happy and comfortable with what they were doing. Clearly, customer service, care and attention were the top priority.They wrapped all of our furniture, paintings, mirrors and bedding protectively, so that nothing risked getting damaged. They took their time to do it right. Despite his name, Rush never rushed the job. They did what they needed to do to ensure that all of our belonging arrived safe and sound.When they arrived at our new building we were stuck in traffic. Rather than start yelling at us or getting annoyed, they were very understandable and didn't charge us extra. And we finally did arrive, they were fast and efficient and moved us in so effortlessly and flawlessly.I can't believe I'm saying this, but there wasn't a single error. Nothing broke. Nothing was scratched. There were no marks on the wall. Everything arrived in the condition it was packed.Rush and his team put everything exactly where we wanted. Again, Rush and his crew of two continually checked in with us to make sure we were at ease and happy with the way they were doing things. And when the job was over, Rush checked in a few days later to see how we did.BTW, there were NO extra or hidden charges. We have just recently moved from NY to NJ and hiring these guys was one of the smartest decisions. They were very helpful from the beginning to the end, and they have the best rate! Since this was our first time moving, I had so many questions. Peter was more than patience with my daily calls of requests and inquiries, I was actually embarrassed. There was a little hiccup during the day of the move, and that the parking spots we have reserved with the local Parking Authority for the moving truck were taken by our new neighbors. I have moved so many times and this was the BEST experience thus far!!!! Thank you to Bobby the main lead, Oli, and Taska. Everyone was so professional, punctual, and customer service excellent. It was actually my first time using a mover. But Perfect moving set up a high standard for my future moving company selection. Vanja and another gentleman were the two staff helped me. I was amazed how punctual they were and how professional, efficient they were. Two of them emptied my one bed room apartment in 1 hour and helped me move in my new apartment without me worrying or doing anything. And all of my furnitures, belonging maintained intact, no damage at all. They also dissembled/assemble my full sized IKEA bed in like 10 minutes. Really amazing! From start to finish the experience was amazing. Rush and his crew called me to ask if they could come early, which worked out perfectly and was much appreciated. They assessed everything in my apartment before getting started and listened to my detailed instructions. They had all the tools needed that I wasn't even anticipating to make the move efficient. For our move from LIC to JC, we had a "perfect" experience with Perfect Moving last week. Pre-move: Peter was great with his transparent, attentive and flexible communication, he sent us our COIs within a day after we reserved the date; move-day: extremely professional service by Rush and his crew, they showed up slightly earlier to get started on time, communicated well at every step, worked super efficiently, notified us patiently and clearly during the entire move, and had an upbeat spirit at all times.
