Liz was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Beginning with our initial interview, Liz and I hit it off right away. She had been to my venue several times, had stunning photos, and was all around just so excited to be a part of our big day . Our engagement pictures were beautiful. SOOOO many people commented tell me that they were the best they had ever seen. A direct quote from someone was, "I have seen some really good ones, but yours were just WOW." My fiancé chose the wonderful Liz Cowie to capture our engagement. Peter knew she’d be amazing as they conversed via phone in preparation for our flight to Florida from Massachusetts! Liz is truly a beautiful and extremely talented soul and this comes out through her work. She made us feel so relaxed, beautiful, and celebrated. We had a ton of FUN working with her. She made everything so easy for Peter before, during and after. Her approach was to mostly take candid shots, so they are very natural, but she would make a posture suggestion if need be. She had many creative ideas. There was an effortless touch to all her pictures; nothing staged, nor edited, always real and with a rare ability to capture the right light and moments with unspoken romance. I had the pleasure of doing a recent photoshoot with Liz and she was absolutely wonderful! Liz made my pup and I feel very comfortable and we had a great experience from start to finish. Most importantly, I couldn't have asked for better photos! The goal was to have at least one great picture to frame and I can honestly say I can barely narrow it down to a top 5. Liz assisted us with our engagement shoot and the moment we stepped foot on the beach we new we were going to have a great time! Liz always kept us laughing and enjoying the moment while capturing the most amazing times of our lives. She later accompanied us to our wedding day at UTCF where we will share in these beautiful romantic pictures with family and friends for a lifetime. We felt so comfortable and in love and Liz knew exactly how to capture this feeling. The next day she attended our trash the dress photos and after bad weather conditions of a hurricane, Liz knew exactly what to do. Liz is amazing. I organized family pictures for our extended family while on vacation! We had some camera shy men, 4 children- 5 and under and everyone else in between. .. about 16 people, most of which weren’t thrilled to be in front of the camera. Every picture is incredible, all of our walls are covered in her work. We all still talk about what a pleasant experience it was... we had fun! The kids got the be themselves. January 2017 I hired Liz to capture memories for a family of 7 on Melbourne beach. We were visiting for only a week and Liz worked us in with only 2 days' notice! She was so helpful with suggestions for location, timing for best light, poses, candids, attire coordination, etc. She was right on time and was so flexible working hard and very patiently to capture all the different family configurations and got amazing results from a family with 4 kids!! She took her time and I couldn't be more pleased with the results! The edited photos were ready and provided in a couple of weeks and the digital download was incredibly efficient and easy! I don’t know if I could have more good things to say about Liz!!! She was more than I ever could have hoped for as our wedding photographer. First and foremost, she made EVERYONE feel at ease and comfortable, making for better pictures; even the men who usually moan and groan about forced photo opps!! Secondly she was so happy to take my ideas and make them reality, even if they were on the spot. I was so impressed how she took everything in stride and made it feel effortless.
Communication before and after my wedding were super easy, and I’m saying that as an admittedly stressed bride. We had a venue change and a timeline change, and again Liz made it all seem like no big deal.
Turn around time for our gallery was unbelievably quick and the quality of the pictures are TO. DIE. FOR.
Basically, I don’t think I can have anyone but Liz photograph me for the rest of my life. It’s March but I’m considering booking a Christmas card session. If you are on the hunt, you can stop now, you won’t regret it! More...
