We came for a baseball match along with my kids and after searching lunch place, I found this newly started restaurant in east side. They have accommodated all 10 people in short time. The service was quick and waiter was awesome. The food was very nice. We tried different lunch bowls like south west chicken bowl, steak and shrimp bowl. They used super food ingredients. Well, I am extremely pleased with the food, drinks and service in this place. Very Clean. Live music & pleasant decor made my evening . .Happy hour gives 1/2 off on some of the items. I picked Chicken Fajitas, Fried chicken and Quesadillas ! Yum, yum, yum! Service was quick and great staff. Went here on a friend recommendation and I am happy that I did. A great find. Tucked away in an assuming strip mall in Lake Forest, this new-ish restaurant/bar is quite good. I haven't sampled many of their menu items, simply because I keep going back to the burger. Just wow. And another big plus is that they support local musicians. Please make plans to try this fairly new restaurant if you haven't yet! The food is delicious, and the owners couldn't be nicer. Service is given with a smile, and every effort is made to ensure your visit is a positive one.They even have live music on Friday evenings, which makes it a really fun place to hang out. My friends like to watch baseball games on the large screen TVs while listening to the live music and enjoying the reasonably priced food and drinks.The room is a little stark, but management is always working on improving things so I imagine they'll be making some small decor changes soon.Try it! Great food! They have one of the best burgers in the northern suburbs and their chicken tenders are fantastic.  Its obvious that they use quality ingredients.  We have been a few times and the food is always good.  The service was a bit off today however the manager came over personally and made sure to take care of the issue.  Despite the service issue we will still go back for the great food. We understand that with any new restaurant it takes a bit of time to get the rhythm down.  We have picked up food to go and it travels well.  Much better to get something here then 95% of the restaurants around.  Go try their food - you will be happy you did! Visiting home for the Holidays... always up to try something new when it pops up. Lake Forest isn't known for its large array of restaurants. This location has been varying Asian restaurants over the last decade and I had tried them all. Although a huge fan of certain Asian food, I could see Little Tails lasting much longer than its predecessors. Italian beef sandwiches do not exist in LA, so I went with that. It was very good. Not a super sloppy, Chicago-style sandwich, but really good nonetheless. I had broccoli on the side. Also surprisingly good with an unexpected garlic sauce on it. Everyone loved what they had. Okay, hard to find a nice neighborhood bar with casual food anywhere in this area that has good food, great beer selection in a friendly staff. But this place has it all. Their burgers, made with wagyu beef excellent. I have to try their cheese curds but in previous Yelp pictures they look great as well. Just opened neighborhood place. Went to an early dinner with the kids. Browsed through Yelp for some new sports bars locations and came up on this gem. The service my husband and I received was phenomenal. We usually choose to sit in the bar area, but have never met a more friendlier bartender than Jorge. The Westside of Lake Forest has forever been waiting for a casual (non Pizza) establishment where you can grab a burger, a few cold ones and watch a game.  Last night my wife and I stopped in (we live a mile away)around 730.  The place was not crowded so we snuggled up to the bar and ordered a glass of wine.  Barkeeps were attentive and chatty.  We perused the menu and decided on the Black Bean burger for her and a turkey club salad for me.  The food was hot, tasty and on point.  As we enjoyed our second glass of wine, the place began to get crowded with football fans and couples out for dinner.Bottom line - Little Tails has the potential to be a hit.  Little competition on the West Side of LF provides all the opportunity necessary.  Please keep the service levels up.  Ensure your team recognizes the locals and treats them with a little extra TLC.Finally I would look at the 'math' on the large beer versus the sixteen ounce.  Per ounce the smaller beer is a better deal.  Just sayin.  Keep up the good work!My best, Tom F. Went to the new place on a rainy weekday evening.  Very satisfying.It's an out and out sports bar restaurant.  A football analogy?  An All-pro guard, maybe.  Solid.  Very solid.I ordered a red wine to begin.  Super Tuscan Carpineto.  A rich red wine and a generous pour.  Actually, that seemed to be its trait extraordinaire--just a little more than one would expect from an upscale bar--careful prep and generous provision.  The Little Tails burger was prepared perfectly with interesting condiments such as bacon jelly.  The fries were slightly crispy--perfect.  The spaghetti and meatballs came with memorable meatballs.  (I might like more kick to the sauce, but not a big issue). I usually write reviews if it is all the way 5 stars or a horrible nightmare experience, and this cool little tails surely grabbed my attention with great food, awesome liquor choices they have, i'd say its all 'out & out' sports bar here in the town, this would be my daily hangout place as its right next to my train station. We went for dinner on Sunday and had a great experience. My husband had the caprese salad and pork chop, which was grilled to perfection. Our son had the chicken quesadilla and the bacon burger, both delicious. I ordered the filet, nice and tender, medium rare as requested. Chef Tyler definitely knows his stuff, also he was nice enough to come out of the kitchen and say hello. Service was also very good. Just went to Little Tails for the first time - fantastic initial impression. Very friendly service (we had Luiz), plenty of TVs to catch a game. Started with wings - excellent! Kitchen graciously let us try two flavors even on a small order. Both hot (buffalo) and thai chili were great. Crispy and good-sized. The Little Tails Burger was also excellent. Waygu beef that was actually cooked to order, MR, juicy and with the toppings, melt in your mouth. Will definitely be back.
