What a great old school italian deli! I come here whenever I'm in Brooklyn. We always get the Dean Martin sandwiches that have prosciutto, and fresh mozzarella with olive oil and black pepper. An all around original staple of home cooked food the old fashioned way . Store cooked roast beef, Turkey. Etc . Focaccia bread , prosciutto bread , full line of sides like antipasta. They also have a fresh or frozen ravioli section as well as sauce and other exclusive authentic old school recipes that will never be recreated. Next gen takes too many shortcuts and can't last 50 years like these original's . It turns out the long hard way is the only way to stay relevant for 50 years . I love sandwiches and I am always seeking out the best. While living nearby there was no need to search any further.Hands down the best sandwich shop in Brooklyn and I challenge someone to tell me of a better sandwich shop in any of the five boroughs. With the huge assortment of sandwiches you will find one to your liking. I would suggest to keep trying them all.
