A great website addresses the pain points of your target audience. Quality websites should be able to clearly tell them that company can solve their problem.
A lot of things can lead into this. Clear messaging, well designed graphic elements, consistent branding, color, and emphasis at the right points can help lead a potential client to become a paying customer.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
When I'm working with a new client, I like to ask them what their main goal is.
- What is your vision for this project?
- What are they trying to achieve with this piece?
- Who will be interacting with this?
Those questions will determine a lot of factors about the project, and what direction we'll take!
What do you love most about your job?
When clients come back to me, and tell me that the project we worked on was a success, that is fulfilling. Whether it's a book, an ad, or a new website, it's exciting to know that the project I collaborated on with my customers is alive and impacting lives. When design serves its purpose, it makes my heart sing.
