I have zero bad things to say about Leandra and this whole experience. If I did anything right about my wedding planning, it was hiring Leandra.
She did a phenomenal job executing my vision and in the planning process, she was punctual, organized, and kept me on track with my Own planning. Our wedding events were outside of her comfort zone as it was a Muslim wedding, so we had asked her to coordinate the Walima but it didn’t stop her. She went out of her way to review details and give us the stress free event of our lives! I had so much fun at my wedding and without her, I’m sure half of the things I wanted and when I wanted them wouldn’t have been part of the picture.
Brides, or those looking to throw a spectacular organized event, hire her. You won’t regret it. She’s down to earth, a joy to work with and you feel like you are putting your event into more than capable hands.

What do you love most about your job?
I love getting to collaborate with a variety of clients and vendors. Challenging events and projects motivate me. I love figuring out every tiny detail and seeing it all come together to create a masterpiece.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I founded L.Guy Event Planning & Design in 2020 out of a passion for helping others and creating memorable events. While enrolled at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, I fell in love with planning events and I knew I wanted to own my own business one day. Once I graduated, I planned events for nonprofits and in the oil/gas industry for six years. During that time I learned how to work with a variety of budgets and personalities. Amid the Covid-19 pandemic and being laid off, I decided to launch my business to continue providing clients with excellent service and unforgettable events.
Why should our clients choose you?
-I believe in full transparency with my clients, I charge a flat rate for my services.
-All vendors are paid separately so that my clients are fully aware of where every penny of their budget is being spent.
-I will advise, educate and implement on behalf of my clients
-I will create an event design mockup to ensure the vision is aligned
-I am an excellent communicator, very organized and detail-oriented. You will get a glimpse of that very early on when you first see the event design mockup.
-I only take on the clients that I can dedicate all of the time needed to create and execute an event to my best ability. I do not work standard hours, my clients can call/email/text me anytime.
-Most importantly, I will be very honest with you. If you have a certain preference that is out of your budget, I will offer you alternatives to make the item fit or provide you with a more cost effective solution that still achieves the vision.
