I had the pleasure of hosting my 65th. Birthday Party here on Jan.6th 2018 and it was the best choice ever. Many out of town guests attended and was also very impressed with the Party Venue "topsider" and guest accommodations. My family was traveling home to Ohio from Disney when we were involved in an accident.
I cannot thank the Lexington enough for the hospitality and treatment we received when they heard of our situation.
It was a very traumatic situation for our family and the generosity and kindness shown to us was incredible.
My faith in humanity has been restored.
We are forever grateful.
If you need a hotel in the Jacksonville area I would highly recommend The Lexington.

After experiencing a bad situation with Kenneth and the morning crew. And after experiencing food going bad in refrigerator I want to give a very big shout out all the way from Atlanta to Jackson Florida to Mr. Will Daniels for making the rest of the stay so awesome. Just listening and having compassion is a key to much success. The valet guy's wonderful, Chris at the front desk thanks for listening.The young man who brought our order up excellent customer service skills. Lexington hotel your company has a jewel on staff. I booked the room for my sister birthday and check in was ok...the woman who checked me in was very nice but I was super disappointed with the $100. 00 deposit and the fact that we had to pay for parking...The lobby was nice and so was the room!I do feel like the room needed more lighting and I paid extra for a balcony and pool view but the view wasn't worth it...they did give us two complimentary breakfast cards but I paid for two more because it was four of us...the restaurant wasn't that wonderful and although the staff seemed friendly we waited over an hour for our food...once we said something the staff was nonchalant and I think its because they figured we didn't pay...I'm not sure but it was unacceptable!for the most part it was a good stay though! The new rooms are really nice and very well thought out. I stayed here during Irma so I could be closer to work and the staff is amazing and really tried to best to accommodate everyone under crazy conditions. The conference center is beautiful. The decor is awesome! You can tell they are getting this place to the way they want it section by section and I can't wait to see it. We are Hilton Lifetime Diamond members...BUT when we stay downtown for events from this point forward... we will be staying here. I've read some of the other reviews and I think they just need a little time to pull some other things together. Giant renovations like this are not easy but they're doing a great job. The staff was exceptional from Mercedes at check-in, Braylon at Valet to the housekeeping. My family really enjoyed the various areas of the hotel. The conference rooms are roomier than expected. The bar and restaurant made the trip very convenient. The renovated rooms were nice. Be aware that there’s a lot of construction going on. There’s self parking, at a price. It’s more economical to valet. I would recommend this hotel to friends. More...

I love that it is only minutes away from food and small shops. Its convenient for my work which is right downtown. There's tons to do. It's under construction currently so there's that. And it could be noisy at times. I could hear doors slamming and conversation going on down the hall to the elevator. But my room was very nice. The bed and pillows were comfortable. More...

Like this place but it was under construction the last time I was there. Friendly staff very helpful. Right on the river close to The Landing. Update, just attended a conference there may 2018. Still under construction but they have made some great changes. The lobby area is open and inviting. Who plays the piano in the lobby and has someone to play from time to time. The Slick tile that was in front of the elevators and leads to the restaurant has been changed to a more textured tile with Earth Tone colors. The bleach smell is gone. The only real negative I have is that the restaurant service still need some work. The staff is friendly helpful and interested in the person not just the customer. This is my first stay here and overall I am pleased. I am attending music festival so I am not in my room too often. From what I've been told it was recently remodeled, the outside looks a little older but once you enter the lobby it is definitely nicer and more up to date. The service has been friendly and quick. The bar is a nice place to hangout. Beds are very comfortable. It's also in a great location, right by the river and a 5 min drive to downtown. More...

Our room was very comfortable and nice. My husband is a disabled veteran and we really appreciate providing us with the needed accommodations during our stay. We will definitely be coming back when we visit Jacksonville.

My wife and I were on vacation this week. Trying to save money on our trip, but with reviews from low budget places saying there were various bug sitings, we changed our minds quickly! So after searching and reading reviews, we came upon the Lexington Hotel. Reviews mostly had the same things being brought up: Construction was going on (mainly in the lobby) and the beds were comfy! Construction was a concern, but we arrived at the conclusion that it doesn't really matter because most of the construction is centered in the lobby area. Let's be honest, I am not there to stay in the lobby area. So if the rooms are bug free and you see consistent reviews that the beds are comfortable, then I am in. Another factor that played into us choosing the Lexington was the responses to the reviews online. The general manager that is a retired Navy Master Chief (I believe those were the proper credentials) was excellent at responding to concerns and comments from guests. A special thanks to this general manager that takes pride in their job and answering the reviews in such a professional manner. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, and the housekeeping staff were kind as well. The pillows and mattress were the best we had ever slept on! We liked them so much that we had to find out the brands so we could get them for our home!!! Lexington is located in downtown Jacksonville , great location and has a nice view of the river, if you get a room facing this scenic view. The hotel was very nice. I was there for a week.
It's situated right along the Riverwalk, near several excellent restaurants, & not far from downtown.
It is just across the river from the Jaguars' stadium. There is great access to I-95. And there is a metro stop right across the street.
When I was there they were still working on internal renovations, but it did not intrude on our stay in any way that I was aware of.
There was also a lot of construction oon the immediate area around the hotel, but nothing that caused issue.

Found a deal on Groupon for the hotel at a great rate. We checked in for Valentine's day and were very impressed with the speedy process and the layout of the hotel. Hotel was nice, staff was very friendly!! Came in on valentines night to stay before going on a cruise. I called early on valentines morning and asked if I had flowers delivered could they place them in our room prior to our arrival. Mercedes at the front desk was AWESOME!!
