It has been a wonderful time training at LSD. I started training Juney 9 years ago beginning with Puppy K and we have just finished her OB career with AKC Obedience Master and UDX titles. Juney and I could not have done it without Renee's keen eye and suggestions for improving our performance. Then along came my next dog to train -- sooo different from Juney. But, Renee had the patience and training techniques to bring him along the obedience road, helping us earn a CDSP Rally Level 1 with an award of Excellence. AND he is preparing for Level 2. We took our puppy to AKC kindergarten classes at let’s speak dog. It really helped him in several areas such as: greeting other dogs, learning basic but critical commands, and puppy playtime. I had taken my new puppy to Let’s Speak Dog for his first puppy class. It was amazing. Trainers are amazing and very knowledgeable. Class sizes are perfect. Chief who normally is scared of other dogs and runs from them actually got in and played with some of the other dogs. We start House Manners very soon and I’m so excited for him to become an even better dog then he already is. I have known Renee for quite a few years, and what she believes in when it comes to training dogs. When I decided I wanted to pursue competition obedience, I had to wait for her to have a class that fit my busy "soccer mom" schedule (for my dogs). But it has been worth it, and Tanner is doing better than I had hoped! It is nice to be able to succeed in training the exercises required and not have to resort to using a prong or choker collar. I am a small animal veterinarian in the Lehigh Valley and can't say enough good things about Renee Hall and her studio, Let's Speak Dog! I've taken three very different dogs through a wide variety of classes at LSD, from the Manners/ CGC prep class, to the Puppy K classes, to the more advanced Rally, OB and Nosework sport classes. For me, dog training is more of a hobby and a wish to have fun and learn while bonding with my dog, and I get that in spades at LSD! The instructors are amazingly patient and are very helpful for newcomers to the idea of clicker/positive training. I really enjoy how positive the trainers are in their methods AND their attitudes! I wish everyone could see how a little positive reinforcement can truly make a difference to the dog AND the owner during training. Not only does it enhance your ability to communicate with your dog, it makes it fun and something to look forward to for both you and your dogs. Renee is a great trainer. She took a beaten rescued reactive collie and nervous owner and helped us become a number 1 (wcr) and 3 (akc rae) last year. She gave both of us confidence. Renee makes sure the dog can do an exercise first and shows you how to do it versus trying to make us figure it out by ourselves. She has become a great friend and coach. More...

We had such a fantastic time with our young male Doberman, we completed Manners 1, 2 and 3 and are so excited he passed his CGC. None of this would have been possible without the great direction, patience and guidance of the fabulous trainers at Let's Speak Dog. We are so excited for the next step in training with our boy Raighne. We are back with our young female Chelsea, who has already completed Manners 1 and is currently being challenged in Manners 2.
