I was asked by my daughter to attend her family's photo shoot here. She wanted to have an extra set of hands, if needed, for her 2 year-old and newborn. Upon arriving we were welcomed into Kayte's studio: warm, clean, welcoming and secure. Very family friendly. Once we were settled in and had chatted Kayte began demonstrating her expertise. It is obvious that this is an artist skilled at her craft. We may have had our doubts about how well the two little ones were going to be able to "cooperate" but Kayte was not only able to engage the two-year-old's interest and cooperation but she put her years of experience in gently soothing babies into practice with a mildly fussy newborn. Mom was able to sit back and watch the shots being set up from her seat on the sofa, while Dad supervised the older sibling playing with studio provided toys. It's easy to see from the finished works on her website/social media the beauty of her work. It was so interesting to watch the skill that went into making those shots actually happen. Importantly, the process was gentle and respectful of baby, mom and the whole family. I was really impressed and the finished products (digital photos delivered in less than a week!) were gorgeous.
